Isn't that more a matter of physical hazing stuff?

it is both Physical and Mental. The Physical stuff got outlawed by the Government somewhere around the 80's thus the mental got worse. And the sororities (woman) were known for the most brutal mental tactics. The frat boys were violent and physical. Plenty of them were killed during the pledge process back in the mid 70's when I was an undergrad.

Now are you happy that you completely Hijacked Tom Yum's running thread? LMAO

                        No worries.

I did some lifts yesterday and finished with an easy 1.5 mile run. Haven't been lifting consistently in over a year:

I benched 225 for 6 reps, which ain't bad considering the lay off. I can normally push 250 for 6 when I'm in shape, but that's still weak, even for a lean 170 lber.

One of my old training friends pushes 365 for 8 reps, but he's got about 70+ lbs bodyweight over me.

I strugled a little with power cleans using my own bodyweight.

I ran 5 days out of the week this week. I'm going to work on non-impact cardio this weekend, a few swims maybe some rope work on softer surface.

Skipped rope during the off run days.

Skipping rope seems to have less impact on the legs. I've noticed that the shoulders, arms and chest get some stamina work too.
