  • Diet plan...help please!

    Im trying to get back down to 150lbs from 170.Im doing Muay Thai 3 times a week along with some extra skipping and push ups, sits ups ect at home on the 2 days I dont go to the gym.The weekend im in rest mode.

    I think im still eating either too much or maybe too many carbs so im trying to cut down.Heres what im aiming to cut down to per day, please give me some advice is possible so i know im on the right track.

    breakfast: High carb ceral like vector with milk of course, and a protein shake.

    10 am or so...have some fruit, an apple or somthing similar along with some milk or orange juice.

    12pm lunch...some steamed white rice with either some cut up steak or chicken with mixed veggies thrown in.

    2pm...same as 10 am snack.some fruit or one of those snack bars with the fruit bits and granola.

    5pm...im just about reaching the gym, i stay for about 3 hours. 1 hour cardio/conditioning the rest is technique and some pad/bag work

    I have a protein shake as im leaving the place.ill get home at about 10pm and this is where im confused.im thinking its too late to eat, but id starve if i dont eat somthing do i avoid carbs after my workout and so late at night?
    should i just have another shake befor i go to bed? no quite sure what to have.

    also, when is the best time to take glutamine supplement? can i take it with the protein shake?
