  • Does the weather effect ones stamina

Today I was training in one of the hottest days of the week and for some reason I was complete exhausted. So I was wondering does the weather effect ones stamina? If so which season helps me more to build up stamina?

I feel the same way when the temperature is getting high.
Also when the humidity is very high

When training on hot days, my working apetite goes deeep down. Drinking a lot of water makes me swet a lot, and feel like loosing power.

It really do affect ones physical well being. When temperature runs high, its likely that your body electrolytes can be washed away quickly through sweat. So its highly advisable to replenish the loss of body fluids right away.

Weather and climate certainly effect ones stamina. Tito Ortiz trains at Big Bear which is at a very high altitude. The air is thin up there so his body gets used to working whilst taking in less oxygen than normal, so when he fights at a normal altitude with thicker air, his body is overwhelmed with lots of oxygen and his stamina rockets

The heat drives the bodys tempreture way up, making your body work harder in cooling you down. Becuse of this you sweat more, breath more heavily and get tired quicker. Its excellent for weight losss. Most fighters sometimes workout in saunas if they have to drop weight quickly. The only problem with this is, it leaves you really drained and takes a while to recover from it.
