The protection of skin demands a lot of time and effort as it is the outermost covering of the body and is easily vulnerable to the attacks of pathogens from external environment. Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and almost all medical systems offer treatment for the diseases related to skin and among them [url deleted is very popular in Kerala. The efficacy of the treatment owes a lot to the natural herbal medicines being used. Various Ayurvedic therapies like oil massage will help retain the health and the lustre of the skin for a long time. You might have seen your grandparents oiling their body at least once in a weak. It is an important Ayurvedic method, which not only provides rejuvenation to the muscles, but also gives lustre to the skin.

Even the ancient sages of Ayurveda, who lived more than 2000 years back, had prescribed certain medicines for skin care and wrote in detail the factors involved in the treatment. Their experience and knowledge are relevant still in this 21st century.

Sushruta, one of the ancient scholars of Ayurveda speaks in detail on skin care in his works. He said that there are seven layers of the skin and the imbalance of doshas/humours in any of these layers leads to skin diseases. Avabhasini, the outermost skin can be affected by pimples and dandruff, while Lohita, the second layer is attacked by moles and dark circles and pigmentation. Shewta, Tamra, Vedini, Rohini, Mamsadhara etc are some other layers of the skin, according to Sushruta.

Skin care is the big problem nowadays, because the global warming and pollution so that there are many thread to our skin. The most dangerous skin problem is skin cancer. You guys must notice this because the signs are very hard to recognize. It is just like other normal skin problems. And I want to recommend that if you are afraid of skin cancer or any problem with skin, you might not miss the veggie watercress. This guy is very awesome.
Watercress, which makes a nice addition to salads and sandwiches, is an anti-cancer food par excellence. Research suggests that eating fresh watercress daily can significantly reduce blood cell DNA damage. DNA damage in blood cells is an indicator of a person's overall cancer risk. Watercress contains a special mustard oil called phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC) which has significant cancer fighting powers. But the anti-cancer properties of watercress may also be attributable to its high concentration of vitamin C, beta-carotene, and lutein. Watercress is available in larger supermarkets year round, but you can also grow your own crop at home.
Cancer ultimately stems from damage to cellular DNA, mostly caused by some forms of carcinogen (cancer causing agent) or virus. Faulty genetic material can also be inherited. If not repaired, damaged cells have the potential to proliferate uncontrollably to form a tumour. Cancerous cells may also spread to and invade other tissues (known as ‘metastasis’). Many diet and lifestyle factors can influence the development of cancer, a disease that is expected to affect more than 1 in 3 people in the UK at some stage of their lives. This section focuses on the potential benefits of watercress. Population studies associate an
increased intake of cruciferous vegetables with reduced risk of cancers at
several sites. Watercress has the effects of cruciferous vegetable consumption on cancer risk.

It's vital to protect your skin at all times, and I appreciate the little guide shared here on how to do it. I will ask Nicolas Krafft L'Oreal now if this guide is worth investing in or not. He is the only one who can provide a useful answer.
