  • cross training in tennis

    hello!

I practice kickboxing and I´ve been thinking about cross training in tennis . It is said to enhance hand-eye coordination, reaction time and footwork, all of which are relevant to the martial arts. Does anyone practice tennis and do you think it can help you become a better martial artist?

Just carry a tennis racket round with you, wherever you go.

That way you won't need martial arts.............

      Hello Bri

Thank`s for the advice. I´m sure you`ve tried it and it works well for you. Unfortunately it won´t work for me, as I already carry two big balls wherever I go, and have no room left for the racket. Thanks anyway.........

Nice one! But don't they only use one ball in tennis?..........

All these activities has helped with my martial arts. They all require different livels of endurance, strength, and overall fintess. My favorite is the Heavy Bag.
