  • Will working out 2 times a week have good affect on me.. rather then 4 times a week?

    Meaning does it matter?

i train muay thai 4 times a week and 2 with weights now..

    does that matter?

working out lets say 4 days appart with weights? and muay thai all in the middle?

can someone help me make a schedule.. maybe i should work out 3 days a week with weights.. i just dont know..

    HELP!

Two days a week with weights will probably maintain what you have in the way of strength and size. Three days would be better and you would probably make some gains.

Your body needs exertion and then rest. I have been told repeatedly that after a good hard lifting session rest those muscle groups for 48 to 72 hours for maximum benefit.

After a long cycle, take 4-5 days off to let your entire body rest.

But don't take too long of a rest because you will lose ground quickly.

It's the quality of the work out that is most important. Your schedule needs to be developed based on what your training goals are.

          Split up your training

Maybe you should try to split your training up.For example:

          Day one: Chest, delts, triceps
          Day Two: Muy Thai
          Day Three: Legs
          Day Four: Muy Thai
          Day Five: Back and biceps
          Day six: Muy thai

You can rest on the seventh day or repeat the cycle over.
