I need advice. Should I continue training Thai boxing mixed with other arts (thats how they do it at my gym), or wait till I`m older (18 or 19) and find a Thai gym place myself? I`m only 14 years old. Only if I had an older friend or bro, or cousin livin` close to me, and would be also interested to do MT and give me a drive to a gym then maybe. But my damn parents wont drive me to any other places 20 mins longer drive!!
What do you think, I want MUAY THAI. I don`t want any freakin` Kickboxing or Karate, or Aikdo, no OTHER arts combined with it (Brazilian Jiu Jistsu is reasonable, so is cross training for other needs if wanted
) ! That just degrades the training down (IMHO). Anyways I should be feeling a lot of cardio pain during a MT class, even a beginner class right? Which I`m not.
So the thing is, should I be wasting my parent`s cash on this and wait ? Or just stay in there for a bit stay in shape. I`m not exactly what to do. But I heard you can pick up bad habits from studying other arts. Such as, snapping, sry but thats the only thing I know from what I heard on the other forums, and it is from TaekWondo, and probably keeping the hands down?
Arghhh, Its going to be hard as you get older! (unless you have a nice job) You gonna have to pay for gas, insurance, maybe rent if you livin` by yourself !!!! And who knows, I don`t even know much about later on on life, why don`t you guys finish off the list in the hard things to do.
One more question, what is the best age to start Muay Thai or does it not matter ? Did any of you older guys went through kinda the same thing? You wanted to train but you didn`t had access to anything.
