I just started working out a couple weeks ago doing only body weight exercises (pullups, dips, pushups, etc.). I also changed my eating habits and began taking supplements because I'm trying to gain weight. So far I've seen minimal results but my forearms have goten really veiny, why is that? Does anyone know? Also, can anyone give me any advice on putting on some pounds of muscle ?(keep in mind my access to weights is very limited).

As far as the vascularity in your forearms, that would probably be from the dips and pull-ups. Your forearms get worked pretty good doing those.
To put on pounds of muscle with limited access to weights you need to be VERY inventive. You have little kids around? Do pushups with one sitting on your back. Have one sit on your shoulders and do squats. Maybe buy a cheap weight set and bench. Stay away from the concrete-filled plastic weights. Do arm curls with a five gallon bucket of water, or full paint can. It can be hard thinking them up, but it can be worth it.

This is the way your body works when it comes to gaining and loosing weight.
calories consumed=calories expended, not weight gained or losed
calories consumed
calories consumed>calories expended, weight gained
When you mix an increase in calorie consumption and intense lifting you should gain muscle weight
Your stomach is like a fuel tank, if you put 87 octane (descent food and some shitty) it will run ok but if you put 98 octane (high in nutrients and healthy) you'll run great.
hope this helps
