  • Best Filling for a HEAVY punching bag

hi, i'm new here. just browsin through this site, and its a lot cooler than like ebudo or budoseek. anyway, i've got a bag right, it full of polyester and some sort of grain. all the grain fell to the bottom so its like halfway filled with rock and halfway(the top part) is just soft cotton. this sucks cause i can't punch it the way i like and it moves way to much if i even tap it on the soft part. so i'm gonna empty it out and fill it with one material only. what would the best be? my choices are
Shredded Tires (have you ever heard of this stuff?
-where can i get this? is it heavy?
Pillows-will stuffin a bunch make a large sized bag 100 pounds?
Sand- will stuffin a large sized bag make this too heavy( 200+?, i hang my bag off a basketball hoop so it can't be that heavy 100 is the limit for my situation)
Beans- how expensive would this be? is it heavy enough for 100?
hay-is it heavy enough to get 100 pounds?
any suggestions? again, i only want ONE material, any help is greatly appreciated. thanks everyone

        Bag Liner

Regardless of the filling you finally choose, consider using a plastic liner between the filling and the bag. This will prevent the bag from absorbing too much moisture and sweat, preventing mildew and that old shoe smell.
