  • Abs, how can people do 500+ situps ??

Whether in sets, I am only doing 3x15 slow movements. and sometimes I can barely do the last set. I got pushups no problem, but I can still improve on my form a little more though.

Why would you do 500+ sit ups anyway?

They can do 500 because they never actually contract their abs within those 500

so is my 3x15 reasonable ? That's if, I contract and hold it there for like 2-3 seconds.

You have to adjust or your body will. .You always have to make your body guess. I suggest changing workouts at least every 12 weeks. Generally, this is the most that I can get out of a workout. Hard for me to say if that is good enough for you. Is that "hard" for you? If so, then it is good

it all depends. i think that doing 500 repetitions is somewhat useless because no one can do this while contracting his muscles in each and every one of the repetitions and therefor, if one is not contracting his muscles while doing the situps it only begins to work on the 150-200 repetition since they're not putting any effort in it and that is just a waste. what u should do i think is contract your muscles as hard as you can using not only your physical strengh but also your own will to reach your goal. keep reminding yourself how content you will be when you reach your goal and don't let some uncomfortable feeling stop you coz only when it really starts to burn- that's when your muscle is actually reshaping with every repetition. don't do a lot of repetitions but really focus on each and every one of them so i think that what you're doing is good. with time you will find that it is becoming easier for you and then move on to the next level, do more repetitions but stick to the idea of really focusing on each and every one of them. it's a long process and a difficult one but i think that if using the right tehniques- it is very much possible to reach your goal! good luck! i hope i've helped somehow!
