carrying/using a training knife as...

hello all,

the question: what are the legalities of using a folding knife trainer (same as a real one except with a blunted edge) as a means of defense?... does it also have the same restrictions as a real folder knife?... i.e.: must be seen when wearing one?

just wanted to see what are ya'll thoughts...

do you mean to tell me that you are thinking of carrying a training blade in place of a real blade in self defense...in real life. You must be thinking along the lines of rouroni kenshin or something. I am not sure if that is a good idea. My guess is that cops will see it as a knife so whatever you decide to do then follow the laws as if it were a real blade. Other than that I am confused.
