He got into a fight squeezing some gals cheeks. no-no. The guy pushed him.

A more appropriate response would have been to get up and laugh at himself for BEING SUCH AN IDIOT.

Not gonna bother quoting it cause its huge.. but fanman.. your story about the club...

I realize you didnt know she had a boyfriend... but I could tell as I was reading it she was doing that to make her bf jealous (prolly just cause I knew it was a fight story but whatever).

Anyway.... I understand she told you to, and if she was hot I prolly would have done the same thing, but you said "just because hes huge he's arrogant and thinks he can kick my ass, not knowing if im a martial artist"..

well... I'm not "huge".. but if I saw you grabbing my girlfriends ass, I'd prolly want to fight you too, not cause im some "arrogant huge guy who can kick your ass".. but because you grabbed the guys girlfriend...

Even if it wasnt your girlfriend... wouldnt you step in if you saw some random guy groping a girl and she was calling him a pervert... gotta look at it from the other context man...

dont know what the point is here.. but there is one... maybe its dont grab random girls.. maybe its not all people who want to fight you are arrogant and kick your ass, maybe its something else.. ill let you choose.
Although not very exciting, here is another one: While having fun with some friends at a local pub, I guy walks by and bumps me when there was clearly enough room to get by the area we were in. Although a little perturbed, I shot him a side-ways glance and that was it. Next thing I know, he was in my face mouthing off. I stepped back a little to defend myself and I could see that this could get out of hand. He asked, "You want to step outside?" I said, "No!". I told him there was no problem, but he was insistant on fighting. After I showed no visual signs of aggression, he called me a "pussy" and walked out of the bar. Over, right?!?! Wrong! He comes storming back in and insists that I take this outside. I said "no" again and then others start to get involved. Now, the whole time this is happening, I had ample time to end this in a physical fashion as his face was unprotected while the entire time I was in a disguised stance with my power hand back and my chin tucked as if I was starring at the floor, but my eyes on him. Okay, back to the story... As my friends get involved, the little-itty-bitty-girl I was dating started to mouth off to this guy and he totally turned perpendicular to me and his jaw was RIGHT THERE. He proceeds to call her a "b-i-t-c-h" and my vision started to tunnel on his face and my fist clenched. Based on numerous conversations with my best friend, a police officer, I could have drilled this guy legally as this guy was threatening to myself and others. Anyway, I remained cool and just let this guy vent, but was ready for action if he decided to touch one of us. He didn't, vented all his steam, and left.
I'm impressed. It's all too easy to get real pissed off and wanna attack when someone's actin like that. You seem to have had a hell of a lot of self control. Good work!

Well, to make a long story short, in 1997 I caught my ex-wife kissing a fella in a restaurant/pub/club we were hanging. Yeah, you heard right, but that's too long of a story to get into - . Anyway, my sister-in-law gets in front of me as I go after this guy and, since I didn't want to hurt her, he escapes through the crowd. I have a few words for my ex-wife and proceed after this guy with a crowd of spectators following. Anyway, he works at this place and when I go outside to find him, all of his bouncer buddies, six in all, are outside waiting for me. Without any fear, cause I was so fired up, I walked up to them and asked where he was. Now here's the interesting part... Although his "boys", it seemed like the bouncers were sympathetic to my cause. They told me to calm down and that there weren't going to let me get to him. I told them that nothing was going to keep me away from him. They started to surround me and that's about all I remember. I do hear that I hit each one at least once and they had a hard time with my kicks and such, but they overwhelmed me, but didn't pummel me. Thanks guys!

Anyway my storie is as follows:
I was sitting on my friend's front porch one saturday morning. Suddenly, a car came creeping down my block. It was my sister's ex-boyrfriend's car. as he rolled by and saw me he started shouting profanities at me and threw a beer bottle out of his car hitting my friend who was at the time mowing the lawn. I was already angry enough to harm them and I now had a good opportunity. I assumed a decent southpawed Muay Thai stance. I began attacking and blacked out. upon returning to a rational state of mind I was shocked to find myself standing over one of the guys with my foot on his throat and my friend pulling me off. the other two were leaning up against the damaged car with dazed and idiotic expressions on their face. my fist was bleeding my eye was swollen but I fought a good fight, at least that is what my friend told me. I lost control. I was young and dumb at the time. I believe that once enlightened i realized that fights like that were not necessary. Everybody makes mistakes.
Yeah, I was younger and dumber when this happened, too. I guess I was just stupid and wanted to show off. Now I've learnt to keep my mouth shut and let people be what they wanna be. After all, who am I to judge people by appearance?

Not quite sure where start!

[QUOTE=fanman One of my work buddies (who happened to be black) was driving me home one day, when i saw a wigger by the side of the road. I yelled out "f#!k you, get a f#kin life!" because this friend of mine hates wiggers, he says they're wasting their lives trying to be something they're not. However, I was surprised to see that he didn't smile or laugh or anything, I asked him why. Then he pointed at the red traffic light. "Oh, sh!t!", I thought, as i saw the wigger run over. I didn't have time to wind the window up before he reached in and started choking me. I mustered all my strength in order to open the door and stand up. I couldn't get out of his grip, and it was too close to do an effective strike, so i just grabbed his throat and squeezed. However, pretty soon my friend had gotten out, pulled him off me and said we don't want no trouble. The wigger then said to him, "hey, stay cool brother, and tell yo man here to learn to keep his mouth shut". He then walked away.
Reflecting on this incident, i was quite dissappointed. I wasn't able to think clearly and was not able to use my kung fu. I will have to train harder.

Okay I will share another real fight experience with ya'll. It happened on the first an only time i ever tried goin clubbin.
shoretly after i turned 18, ma buddy's decided to take me to this nightclub they thought was so cool. So we's havin a good time an all, an where all the dance floor lookin like a bunch of gay's cause we aint got girlfriends. then i see this really hot chick in the distance. we made eye contact an i smiled an winkde an pointed at her. She sorta gave a polite smile, but didn look too interested. nevathaless, i kept a huge smile on ma face an danced ma way over to her. an, still dancin', i say "hi, I'm ______ (can't let ya'll see ma real name!), but my friends call me fanman." she say, "fan... man? okay, that's great." and she lookin all agitated and she looks around behind her. then she looks back at me, and her expression brigthens suddenly. and she say, grab ma butt an squeeze it tight. don't let go. so i happily do what she say, but then this big guy in a leather jacket and with bald hair an sunglasses an a beard come up, an then she screams an says to me, what are ya doin, get off me you pervert!!!!! an the big guy says to me, get tha f#ck off ma gal. and he shoves me, real hard an i fall to the ground. I immediately get up, infuriated an say, "its okay if she's yo gal, i just didn't know. all ya need to do is tell me, no need to f#ckin get violent about it!" An he says, "you wanna go, punk?" i get really pissed off at these kinds of people who are so arrogent just cause there big an they don't even consider that there opponent (me in this case) might be an experienced Martial artist. so i got so pissed off, and i did a spinnin back kick and i think i hit him in either the lower abdomen or bladder region, and he doubled over. i quickly followed up with a crescent kick to his head, an then ran off into the crowd. I soon could here him shoving people aside and running after me. I was sometimes shoving people aside cause i needed to in order to get away fast. but one guy, who saw me doing so, musta been angry cause he stood in my way and when i tried to push him, he pushed me. so the big guy caught up to me. I turned around just in time to see his fist comin full speed for my face. he got my nose and i fell backyard. i managed to roll over all the way backward and stand up. as he stepped in with a big swing, i ducked and chopped him in the throat. that disabled him temporarily and my friends had found me by now and helped me get outta there quickly an we drove off as quick as possible.

I admit that he did manage to hurt me a lot with that punch to my nose (almost broken), but i was fairly happy with how i was able to defend myself, as this guy was HUGE. I guess he was just over confident and did not expect me to put up a fight, especially an effective one. However, i was very bad at controlling my emotions and looking back on it, i could have gotten myself into a lot worse trouble because of it. I guess i was just lucky. But since then, i have taken up meditation and i find i can control my emotions much better, i do not get so annoyed when people think they are better than me or think or say they can bash me.

There's no way that fight would ever go down. It'd be too nasty. Too much blood. Two powerhouses like that, you got to be kidding me

Anyway, now it's your turn. But I only want true stories. For once I have not made up any of my story or exaggerated on parts; I have stuck completely to the truth. And I hope everyone will do the same.

No offense, but thats b.s. . I took my kid to a Misfits concert in Hartford Ct., (The Webster Theater) I wanted to go because Mark Ramone was on the drums and one of my sons friends was in the opening act He plays guitar for the Black Albinos. Being a big Ramones fan from the late seventies early eighties I wanted and got Marks autograph on a T-shirt. Some punk with an attitude about twice my size ( wich isn't saying much, I'm all of 150 lbs at 5'8") Snatched my shirt. Well needless to say a fight broke out. I grabbed him by the liberty spikes and ragdolled his ass. My point is if you freeze, it's not because of your art, It's because of your level of confidence or your lack of experience. Don't carry a weapon if you don't have the knowledge or sack to use it and don't take a fighting posture against an agressor unless your prepaired to fight because you will get hurt. You may only have a split second to decide wether or not to fight, but once you make that critical decision, you need to act upon it fast. Never wait till the other guy throws the first punch because you may not get the chance to counter.
I do agree that boxing, kickboxing,BJJ or Muay thai, are all great arts based in reality. But if your training is not reality based your wasting your time. The only way to learn to defend yourself is by defending yourself. And I think that the BJJ guys out their will agree with me that if you dont learn how to take a stand up situation to the ground safely or should I say properly, you can get hurt. The same with kempo or any other art, If your learning to defend against a single front two knuckle punch to the center of your chest, instead of a flurry of punches aimed with the sole intent to hurt you, you've trained in vain.
