Really, I want to take up boxing since there are no Thai Boxing gyms around here. But the thing is I get stereotyped for being a smart-ass dude and I`m small, and guess what I had a 52.8% Average first semester, Did not fail anything
hee hee.
I really don`t watch boxing matches on TV, but somehow I never see an Asian boxer, other than in Muay Thai. So what do you guys think? BTW I have never tried an intense class like an MT one, I am afraid I wont be able to stand the training and I will be called a wussy. You guys got anything to say or advice you can give me ?

But it has been fairly gradual. At first, you will be frustrated and hit easily. Then you will get comfortable with a certain level of contact. Then you spar more and when you take a harder shot to the nose, you smell your own blood and your eyes glaze (a natural response). Then the nose is ok until you catch an uppercut to the mouth/jaw and your lip busts. Then your lips are ok until you catch a few hooks to the jaw and you get that pain while trying to yawn or chew meat (lol).
