I'm a knife guy. Got knives for everything, of every size, everywhere. A nice bowie knife is probably my favorite. Texas toothpicks, tantos, machettes, and gurkas are nice too. I also like the old, small, battle axes. I actually use all of these for different purposes. To me they are tools. There are very few things I buy that I do not use. If it will not stand up to being used on a regular basis, i do not want it. I have shillelaghs, kubotans, danbongs, darts, bows, etc, and among my pile of sticks and tools if I needed one, I would probably just grab what was closest. I have one "weapon" that I seem to treat better than the rest, and that is my naginata...but that never leaves the house.

Some people just bring it onto themselves and complain about how hostile it is.

I have been to London, Netherlands, Belguim and France. Public transportation in Europe is so cheap it's amazing. The tram from Amsterdam to London is only 20 Euros. I have been down some bad neighborhoods, down dark alleys and was always treated with respect. I was never harrassed or even looked at. Even the bums are polite when they beg for change.

I beleive that you have never been outside of England. You do not know what NYC it like, and have nothing to compare London crime rates with areas of real crime. Western Europe is a pretty domesticated area. There are no gangs of people walking around with swords and armor anymore. There are no armies of darkness gathering ready to kill innocent victims. You are living in a fairy tale. Before you start calling us all names and telling us how bad your neighborhood is, travel. Go to some really bad areas. There are thousands of places where it is not safe to walk around at night without a weapon; but that doesnt mean its the toughest place on Earth. You are the one making assumptions.

You know a bad place is Tokyo. Ggodzilla, Mothra, Gigan and the blob are destroying the city and taking out thousands of people!

"There are no gangs of people walking around with swords and armor anymore"

Not that there aren't gangs. Every city has gangs.
Even small towns have gangs, its a natural thing to do.

you dont get groups of people standing about with katanas in all of there backs like some yakuza movie shit, but lots of people in london get attacked with swords and huge blades ive been involved in fights with huge blades and swords, its commen for someone to get fucked up by some kind of sword or blade here. as guns are illegal here most people have swords blades and other things of that nature, but many people in london and other cities in england have guns, its easy to get a gun in london, its just the fact if you get caught with a gun you go to jail for longer than if it was a knife or sword, so more people here have hand to hand weapons than guns, but many do have guns illegaly here aswell.

From some of your previous posts, it looks like "YOUR" London's biggest problem.

Has anyone ever been decapitated during these sword fights?

I hope you fight better than you type/talk/spell. Remember, punctuation is your friend.

Just having a little fun, glad to see you didn't get upset, you probably are a good guy.

Here is a quote: (not sure of the origin)
"The world is a mirror, wherever you go you meet only yourself."

                          Think about it.

yeah we all know great fighters went to cambridge and had excellent language and writing skills. and it is my friend when i want to use it like an exam or when its work based but typing on the computer on the internet dosent matter really aslong as you get your point across i suppose punctuation and spelling is irrelevent.

Punctuation (rules to follow) is not your friend, creativity is.

My favorite weapon, is the solid "walking" cane.
                                It's a mid-range weapon with endless possibilities.
