Helo mmm I can say that MMA is a great art itself. However your statement is over-generalising in some ways. I myself have seen MMA fighters being taken down by even greater Muay Thai fighters ( Muay Boran, Muay Sangha, etc.) and also Chinese Wushu fighters too. The reason why MMA seems so powerful is because of the range of technique one i able to customise and use. However the weakness will lie in one factor- Lacking in depth of any form of martial arts that MMA is trying to imitate. This will produce disastrous effect in the eyes of more proficient fighters, irregardless of what martial arts they practise.

You are a fucking retard. The MMA is not an ART it is not a SYSTEM, it is a SPORT. It is a group of arts and systems compiled by different martial arts schools or individual practitioners for use in sportive combat under particular rules. The blend varies not only from school to school, but between individuals as well, i.e. different people emphasize on different parts of their MMA game, or are better at one art then another.

MMA is putting it together and using it in a combat sport enviornment.

Wushu guys beating MMA guys? Get off it.
Muay Thai guys...because many MMA practitioners train Muay Thai as one of their arts...it's a popular striking blend.

One more reason. After viewing the video, that TKD guy and the karate guy need more practise. It's shameful to disgrace the creator of these two great martial arts.
