HI to everybody here,
I was reading and following this topic for a long time and seems this will never finish....since we are human beings we are not perfect and like in everyday life there is always the temptaion to speak bad about others and to listen and read more about it....than people wo dont even know the Persons there aretalking about will say something again and again like a never ending story. Normally when I listen and I say listen something about someone it will stay there cause I think ist the best way to stop a rumor or whatever,unfortunately in most of the forums I visit more than 90% is talking about other people in a very destructive manner.....and the worst is that this doesnt meake us more powerfull or better in our arts nor make as better as a Person...
Im living here in Germany and travel many times to the PH since 1992 (Im sure not as often as Mr Alland do or did and many others) and met there the Tortals so Im training with them, but have a very long road before me and maybe will ot be able to live long enough to learn from them or even to learn from others, cause you can learn everyday from everybody...so IM not a GUro as written in the homepage from Dekiti but I know why Master Tortal wrote there that IM a GUro and I really apreciate and Im very thankfull to him for sharing his knowledge with me.....he trust me and that means much for me.
I know also Mike (Mike or MAMIKE) a very nice guy a good friend and a better
MA as IM do and very giving but I dont know personally Master G Alland
who seems to be also a Person who dedicates his live to the arts and has much to share with many of us and for sure knows more than what we will be able to learn in our whole live what is the same I think form Master Tortal.
Why IM saying that, cause its somehow sad to read about people you know and to see how for one reason or onother they are discussing or whatever...
to finish what I want to say is it doesnt make you better if u will know why
Master G Alland and why Master Tortal are not more together and writing about it will not give u any credit, it just shows that by doing so u are still using pampers and have a lot to learn about life people friendship and respect.
So please stop asking or writing about it, let just the parts involved in this to maybe one day to talk again and maybe come togeher and forget the pass....who knows.

HEY is that Thee Greg Alland himself, posting as MasterKaliSilat? What an Honor and after all this time. I once had some of your tapes years ago -since though I had either given them away or taped cartunes over them I think. Anyways That is what this whole thing was about originally remember everyone? It seems there are different opinions on You and your abilities- some for and some against. I personally thought that the tapes I had purchased were poo. Not to say you dont have ability just that I remember the presentation and all to be not worth watching and the poor sound quality just got on my nerves. On the other hand I have tons of other tapes by other teachers out there that I do enjoy. Have you considered maybe investing the time and cash and having more professional quality tapes to offer? Well it is your reputation and you can only do what you believe is good enuff for you. Besides all that with the tapes there seems to be other issues out there in kali silat land. Wow! I've gotten thousands, no hundreds of emails asking me to respond to the many questions noted in the subject above, in that Master Greg Alland, newly on Defend.net is MasterKaliSilat, and would I reply with the real story. I must digress first to appreciate the complete truth.
In 1986 when a letter was circulated cancelling my kali silat academic and physical study, albeit small, I threw it away and thought.... (all theses .... in each the future* and it's here now.)
I began reading and wondering about Kali Silat in every aspect, and where we all came from and everything. I guess everybody did at one time or another.
So here's the real story from an early beginning, to a middle, a revelation, several actually, and I began to see exactly who I am, and I accepted my self for it, and took resposibility for my actions and you'll find the answere to all of this in number 13, which I added. That began when I was almost 17, in 1963 while looking for this warrior practice for myself, but it wasn't until many years after I began that the 13th number emerged.
I found this teacher of Kali Silat in 1972, nine years later and everybody knows, what happened next. But more importantly I wanted you to know that I progressed in my study as a student of Kali Silat first, I have been selfish about this. In my thinking I discovered that Dr. Dwayne Dyer** put my thinking almost to the exact in his 12 points in his new(?) book, "The Power of Intention", in addition I began his readings about two years ago, and I have progressed to the point of how I can respond to all these questions, over six thousand of them, and streams of email.
Dr. Dyer's 12 items from his book "The Power of Intention", are numbered, and my response underneath. This list was given to me by a dear friend, companion, and student of the arts himself.
1. Do more for others than yourself.
I began doing this in the hospitals I worked, back then in the 60's it was a way of helping others, giving understanding to those then entered, I became department head of admitting and a quasi administrator before I left the business in 1974. I left, after I met my teacher and took the opportunity to work only on Kali Silat for my teacher, as he asked, and I continue to introduce my student to them when I can, it is the way in Kali Silat.
2. Think from the end.
We all do, I always imagined, "What if I did..." more negative, then positive back then, and more positive now.
3. Be an appreciator in your life.
I love myself, there's no question about it. I get up early to enjoy the day, one at a time, and I do what I want.
4. Stay in rapport with source energy.
I realized everything I did required understanding, when thinking I always remember everything I do comes from within. I practice to continue this balance always. There's a statment I made to a student of a friend circa 1988 or so, "If you know where to look, look there again, Kali Silat resides in the same place".
5. Resistance comes from embracing anything other than what you come from-source.
I don't remember what I had for breakfast, why must I wonder what happend yesterday, a week ago, a month, years, my time is too precious. I'll just continue what I'm doing......
6. Contemplate yourself as surrounded by the conditions that you want to produce/that which you need.
I do what I want to do, I knew that when I was sixteen when my search began. And in 1972 I met my first teacher in Kali Silat and he asked me to be president of the organization, and I replied no. I'll do what you want me to do, but I'm here for the rest of my life, and the first..... Well, I have received certifications of Master by both these extrodinary gentlemen that support me and in Pekiti Tirsia, I quote Leo, "If you spent your time with Greg, you spent your time wisely". In a New York Seminar 2002 or so. In Dekiti Tirsia Siradas, "Not matters what!", says Grand Master Tortal, in his video that raised enough money to bring him to the US in a round of seminars I organized for him, and again in the second round in 2002, and again in 2004, where I spent over 9,000 for all the tour expenses, with the help of many Kali Silat supporters. And in addition I expect no less then each student to be with my teacher. In all the paper means nothing, I known when I'm a master, anyways. Ask me some other time, not now.
7. Practice the art of allowing.
Now each of 'my master and grand master instructors' all of them, except Suryadi Jafri, RIP, immediately took over any or all my students, I planned it this way, and since the early 70's when I was permitted to teach, Tuhon Gaje, both my private students continued with my teacher, of course. Why would you want to be taught by Greg Alland, when his teachers have the knowledge. I introduced all students to these gentlemen and recently to Grand Master Tortal for the same purpose, all his new representatives, started here. But here is only my path, part of number six this is, too, (also).
8. Practice radical humility.
I clearly failed here, so I take many lessons and look forward to listening within.
9. Be in a constant state of gratitude.
It recently began, and I'm greatful for the day, one at a time, and I want to help more people now then ever. When you see a man or woman hungry, they too may be just like you.
10. Realize that you can't resolve a problem by condeming it.
Many times I ask forgiveness, so I stay on my path. And, for all the children out there, they too have their lessonnnnssss.
11. Be in the match with the field of intent.
It sounds like a fight, but I'm sure it's not meant that way. None the less, it is difficult to remember to practice. "Practice shows you the way", Suryadi Jafri, circa 1977
12. Meditate.
During my traning with Suryadi Jafri, I began meditation under his guidence, I use it often today, and know from those that worked with me in the early days, that you can see future events as short, medium and long time elements.
13. See the future.

Is that the best you have to offer after seeing all your ads everywhere fear no man on earth? Or are you distributing Dyers Products now?
Alright so you talk about forgiviness and all that stuff you learned from Dyer and so you are a better person and have grown... So what's with the posts trashing Mike Olive? What's that all about?
