Sammy says that Silat is the worst martial arts of all. Read at his forums
or here is a list below

Regarding the earlier post! Well, well well if its not another Internet asshole trying to steal my thunder. Let me just put it this way, the Shielding Wedge is 100 percent original! It was conceived and developed by me and only me. It has no stylistic influence whatsoever. If you don't believe me - then **** YOU! Period!

I work my ass off developing a very effective defensive technique, only to have some troll try to take it away from me. Like I said, **** YOU and the horse you rode on.

Moreover, I would rather integrate ball room dancing (LOL) into CFA than Silat. Silat is one of the worst martial arts ever conceived in the history of mankind. Have you ever seen their knife defense techniques! What a fucking joke!

Im not to hip on the whole sammy franco thing, but I can say that it seems as if every time I do hear it, he's being an ass with a sales pitch, inflated ego, and myriad of cool circus terms for "repackaged techniques that have been around for a long time".

I mean the statement that he makes above sounds completely unbecoming of a martial arts practitioner or even a fighter with knowledge of the term confidence and humility.

I would say that sammy's viewpoints are completely unresearched, and unfounded, and furthermore if this is how his his attitude toward what is supposed to a be a mature serious subject, than I would like to see him mercilessly gang-raped by the horses that we rode in on.

I bought his "use it or lose it dvd"

I thought it had drils on it but it was mostly info i already knew years ago, he's good at marketing but I 'd like to see him in a street fight, so i not exactly a sammy supporter, but maybe i'm wrong.

Okay,I checked out his site...he's got a way with words...I myself could have been swayed to purchasing a book or video had I stumbled onto his website before entering this thread. However,I have to shy away from anyone that talks bad of another art when marketing their own at the same time...so thanks for the warning kenpomace.

**** Sammy Franco! He's a fruitcake. He twirls a lolli-pop "fairy-wand" thinking he probably practices 5 different styles of Kali.
                          Sammy of the "Baklakan" school.

I'm part of everyone who is entitled to my own (more than)"5 Ways of talking smack".

wouldn't he get a lot of slashes on that forearm if this was his fighting stance?

and die of losing a lot of blood after a fight!
