I have Spyderco Catcherman, which I like for it's blade lenght compared to the other Spyderco's. I also have a Windsor Excalibre, wich I just like looking at.

its also scary sharp to make that easier, the straight part of the blade i use to open mail and boxes
due to its very high standards of construction and its spear point i can digg with it when i have to...
) and can freeze to your hand in the cold. there are other drawbacks as well but those are the two major drawbacks to metal handles. locks should be STURDY, there should be little to no play in the blade side to side or up and down when locked.... if you shake the knife while open and it rattles or wiggles.....its junk. many cheap knives use inferior metals for the blades and locking mechanism
the blades dont take or hold an edge well and the locks are completly useless...
if it survives his tests it will serve you well...my dad said i was the best knife tester he had ever seen
