Ive got the Columbia River(CRKT) Snap Lock knife, it sooo cool!

The folder on the bottom is a SOG Trident. It opens fast almost like a switchblade and has 2 locking/inlocking compartments. Very durable.

More on the hook/claw tool

The little karambit has a number of advantages over a straight blade. Besides being more difficult to disarm it has multiple positions to cut from. The power is in the reverse grip (as I'm sure you know) but the ring on your index finger gives one the ability to "extend" the tip forward giving the user added reach with the blade. Also you can open your hand without loosing your knife! The shape of the hooked blade makes it much easier to inflict a nasty wound also. Many are double edged or have "teeth" on the back blade for "trapping" (or both) It's a sick little tool all around.

I played with straight knives for many years before I hooked up with a K-bit and I'm totally impressed with the things.... I think you'll like them!

a Karambit S&R tool? Well...it sure as hell looks a lot fucking cooler than a Leatherman.

Spyderco Endura (old style) & Civilian. Very easy to open with a flick of the wrist as they clear the pocket. Never even touch the blade.

Otherwise I like CRKT. $$$ to quality ratio is very good for most models. The Bear Claw (Perrin LaGriffe knock off) is a personal fave. Crawford Falcon, Ryan7 etc...to name a few of the smaller likes.

Harpy is cool. Good call on the Gunting as well. I like the idea of the "Southern Comfort" too. Though not to many blades out there that I'm aware of with the blade facing rearward in the pakal grip.

You can always just hold them blade facing back in pakal. But, yeah...I hear you.

Like a fuc*ing switch blade especially the way I pre set it
I have a gerber para folder $17 that I'm attacking trees and boxes with so I can dull it to use as a trainer because I'm a cheap skate. I also just bought the jungle master survival bowie great fuc*king knife(will give details if asked)
the best knife I ever owned was a german partrooper knife that I shapen on the other side thus making it a double edged knife very nasty and sleek.I love traing with my "ninja" "katana sword" $90 instead of a boken because the weight is better btw why do peole spend hundered of $ on expensive havyer bokens from japan when they can just get a "real" sword with an edge from any mom n' pop knife store???? btw how can I dull my gerber folder with out bench grinding it so that I can use it as as trainer???
any advice would be greatly appreciated
