kappo, also known as katsu, is a healing art, where you would for example.....in class stop a bleading nose after uke didnt move out of the way, or revive an opponent who can't breath for a shot in the solar plexus.
kappo or katsu are known as "energy restoration techniques" and in application is simelar to accupressure (not accupuncture)...ie rubbing, hitting, slapping, pressing certain spots on the body(in a predetermined order=see 5 element cycle for this) to heal an injury, it is sort of the other half of kyusho jutsu (dim mak/pressure point fighting)...you use kyusho to hurt them, you use kappo to heal them after you hurt them (although it can work at any time)
accupuncture, accupressure, kyusho jutsu(dim mak, tien sheuh) are all based on the same thing, pressure points and how they effect the body, for good.....or ill.
it has to do with the 5 element sequence (creative cycle(kappo/katsu) vs destructive cycle (kyusho/dim mak)), yin/yang, chi (qi/ki) meridians and pressure points along organs...if you believe in that sort of thing....from a more western standpoint, it works with specific nerve/organ strikes, cavity and blood vessel strikes and presses. etc....this subject can get very deep if you want to delve into all the theory involved...yet can be very simple
i hope that helped
however it seems these guys call their fighting art koppo ...who knows

Kappo sounds interesting, but I have heard of something called Koppo. To my knowledge, its an art which focuses on bone breaking techniques, thats all i know about it though, I think a computer game character used it, so i'm not sure whether this is true or not.
