Now you just hang on. I'm going to inflate my own status here a moment, so please bear with me as the ego jumps to gihugic status:
I pride myself on being the resident ninjitsu expert. If anyone is going to be called a flaming idiot on here for believing something that others claim to be crudola, I prefer it be me. However, since I have not been here for a while, I see that you have tried to step up defend the art. Now, this is excellent, but you aren't doing the greatest job. Actually, you have allowed them to rip you to shreds. No one cares about any lineage crap; it proves nothing. Rather, they want to see ninjitsu actually work and they want to hear you describe REALISTIC techniques that have worked in combat, not who taught whom 3 kagillion years ago.
I was GOING to help you gain back some of the ground you lost. (I know, you don't want it anyway, you're too good for that. You're on your way to becoming an instructor, {eyeroll} Just a question, how old are you?). That's why I asked what this argument was all about. These guys got you so far rattled though that you are trying to defend the art by naming it's history. How's that working for you? In all truth, the argument is so far away from anything recoverable they might as well lock down the post. I'm sure you know your stuff very well and are good at what you do. Unfortunately, you just let these guys lead you into saying statements which you can't backup empiracally.

PS> Alright Jubaji, rip me to shreds.

I remember seeing like UFC 2 and there was a guy who the anouncers said was a ninja and he was from Robert Busy Warrior International and he got the crap beat out of him with smashing elbows and knees and stomps on his head and he was bleeding so bad. He lost to a kickboxer. The match was like 5 seconds long. The ninja guy just ran at him and the kickboxer evaded and just punched and elbowed and stuff.

HAhaa! I have a training tape with Robert Bussey. He has some cool scenerios but it is very hard to see how it would play out exactly like that. He goes through choreographed defense sequences and does them over and over in slow motion and then speeds it up at the end to show you what it really is like. It is pretty cool and you can learn some stuff but its really hard. Plus how do you know the people will attack in certain ways? I guess it was just to show you a sample of certain things to do. Its cool but hard to learn off of a video tape.
