    The laws in the UK;
    It is completely illiegal to concelle any weapon on the street, the only thing you could maybe get away with if searched by the Police would be a pen-knife. Any other type of knife, you would be instantly arrested. The laws on weaponery are good and safe, but unfortunately this does not stop punk kids and thugs - the low life of society to carry such weapons anyway. My views on guns aren't based on an Englishmen's opinion, it is my own opinion. I don't believe guns should be allowed anywhere, i especially don't believe the public should be allowed them - its far too easy to get hurt and killed. I still can't really believe that the gun laws in the USA are so lapse, its disturbing to think that anyone could be carry a gun, one drunken dissagreement out side a pub and someones dead.

    Anyway thats enough of the subject on guns, just thought i'd clear the English laws a little bit.

    If you think back to the samurai they were honourable, thats why they stuck with there swords, i believe thats where jujitsu came from, if a samurai got disarmed he would have to dispose of his opponant in the quickest time possible - a quick break of the neck.

    What would you class as the most difficult martial art weapon to master? i was told GoGo's weapon out of Kill Bill Vol1 was by my old Jujisu sensi, but i can't remember the actual name. The solid ball on a long chain. Anyway hope this opens up a new debate.

      I believe the weapon you are reffering to is a modified Meteor Hammer. Quite a difficult weapon to be sure but I think a harder one would be the Rope Dart.
      A rope dart is a chinese weapon that consists of a conical spear head on the end of a 15 foot rope. My friend and I are trying to learn it (using wooden blocks for safety reasons) and ouch.

                  The meteor hammer, huh? maybe. A meteor hammer usually has two balls at the end. This looked more like an extended Manriki-gusari, or even a modified ball and chain Mace ( I never noticed if the other end had a handle or not). You're probably right though.

                  Other than knives I also like shillelaghs. Irish fighting sticks. My grandfather brought some over when he came here from Ireland. Taught my father, and I still have one of the originals. We have made others. Here is some information for those who didnt know that the Irish had their own fighting arts.

                        Dito, but you know, any damn fool can pull a triger... And since the UN propaganda machine has such a firm grip on mother britan I'll add my next favorite. Karambit. Traditional Mambaki or modern custom.

                            Tant01, please excuse my ignorance but what are the 'karambit' and "Mambaki"?

                            Also, any fool can swing around a sword as well, or a flail, or even stab with a knife. At times it is the amateur that you must fear rather than the professional.

                              Not at all, a karambit is a traditional S.E. Asian PPD\ "utility" knife. Mumbaki is just a word for a tribal smith or high priest. They are still feared and believed to have powerful magic.
                              Shop Karambit.com for the highest quality fixed and folding custom Karambit knives for everyday cary (EDC) and self defense.
