No, I don't intend for this thread to become a discussion about Rurouni Kenshin -- there are enough anime forums and blogs on the internet for that sort of thing.
But perhaps I have been watching too much of that anime because I'd like to know if anyone there knows of samurai swordsmanship techniques which involve cutting/attacking by drawing the sword once. I'm sure there are, but I am curious and would like to discuss with those who have trained in this style of swordsmanship. I'd like to study it myself as a novelty.
