Unless you are a high school wrestling coach, or sensei of a large, thriving dojo (I am not sure how many dojos are actually open during the day), I find your posts to be very doubtful.
As I said Jumanji, your profile has joke info on it, you seem to be a wrestler or something along those lines, yet you like to post on the japanese side of this forum. My first guess was that you are a bored teenager with a PC and too much time on your hands, but after thinking about it and reading some of your older posts (Purely for entertainment value) I modify my guess. I believe you are probably just out of your teens, on disability, and living in your grandmother's basement.
Either way, the reason people like me come to this portion of the forum is to learn something about Japanese martial arts from other people who have taken those styles, gain knowlege, share info. Not from Wrestlers or people that have had a few BJJ lessons. There are quite a few people here who actually know a few things, and then there are the star wars/shinai/matrix/LOTR teenagers who make a lot of boastful claims about "taking people down", doing "fight clubs" for fun...you, sircnay, garland, killerninja and a few others are just totally, totally ridculous. Apparently, I am not the only one who feels this way. 2000+ posts only makes you a super-troll. Fill out your profile and maybe people will take you more seriously. I could be very wrong, but I doubt it.
And let me provide you your response to this post, to save your fingers from the wasted motion:

Its nice to know you spend so much time thinking about me!

Wrestling is pretty popular in Japan. Is there some criteria to qualify for posting in your portion?

Why is "shinai" in your list of foolish things there? Am I missing a reference outside of kendo?
I don't think I've ever mentioned anything about a fight club, and you don't seem to know what a "takedown" means in the context used here(which makes your little tirade even more pathetic). Finally, this particular thread is (or was) about throwing, which would seem to make a wrestler's point of view rather pertinent, don't you think?
BTW... no one that knows anything about grappling would dismiss a wrestler's ideas on throwing. We use a lot of the same techniques in Shaolin Kung Fu that my wrestling coach showed me back in high school. The only difference is in kung fu we usually punch the target a couple times to set up the move.

P.S.
Because there are shinai clubs that are basically just a bunch of internet dorks bashing each other with swords on a friday night. Pretty much one of the most idiotic things I have ever seen. These people fit 1 of 3 profiles (sometimes all three) Star wars freaks, goths and postal workers. They are usually the dorks from high school that got thier asses kicked all the time, and now they bought a shinai to be cool. Not one has ever taken a Kendo class before. Just like you, troll!
One thing I have noticed is you have not exactly denied anything. And as I said, with your joke profile, you have zero credibility. I can give you my profile no problem, without any jokes. 5 years TKD, 1 year aikido. 8 months Kempo, 3 months Bujinkan, and 1 year of hapkido. I am not an expert in anything. In fact, I very much suck at martial arts and might easily get my ass kicked. But one thing I don't do is make posts where my intention is for everyone to think I am the next Bruce lee. Like you do. So shove your daikon radish up your ass!
