how many times have people had it drilled into their heads that if you go against a knife you are likely to get cut and if you go against a gun you are likely to get shot, especially if you cant reach the guy.

it illustrates my point, that the gun is effective at range. no matter what you do you wont stop it. even if the guy ran, hed get shot.
