Define exactly what you are talking about for me so that I can be sure to appropriately deny or accept it. I want to make sure we're talking about the same exact thing.

You claimed previously that a person could be taken down, and even 'frozen' from a dead sprint, at a distance with ki power alone. Is that so?

Two of my wc friends claim this sort of chi/ki energy too. I think it is a load of bull. I even told one of them and he said that he don't care if I believe him or not. I never trained with spiritual ma so wouldn't even know. I still doubt it is possible. One is in his 40s and the other is in his 20s, and I do not understand how they can believe the stuff they tell me.

Ok, just to clarify --> at a distance would be not really more than from 1 - 3 feet. We're not talking miles here.

Furthermore, I think I'm going to go the annoying and not really come out and answer you. Rather, let me put it to you this way. When faced with a truth such as this, one simply has a choice to accept it or not, and that choice is up to each individual. It really is not different than the choices people making in accepting a religion. Now, I'm not saying that Sunday mornings I wake up, put a tie on, and rush out to worship the "no-touch ki freeze" as you've called it.

However, this is a matter of faith. Those of us who have read the history, heard the stories, practiced the art, and have spent time manipulating chi (no matter how miniscule) generally accept this because we know what else the art is capable of and not much suprises one after practicing ninjitsu.

Let me ask you this? What makes you so sure that the moon and the stars are really there? Have you ever really been there? Seen them? Have you picked up the dust on the moon? Let it slide between your fingers? Put it in your mouth? Made snow angels in the dust? What makes you so sure it's real? How do we know that the stars are no more than pin-holes in a blanket placed over our world to hide us from the veritable reality outside it? How do you know that that's air your breathing? Have you seen the molecular structure of it? How do I even know that you are real and not just some entity that I've imagined?

Truth is, you don't. But do I mock you for believing these things? Nope.

PS> How do other ninjitsu practitioners feel?

Just out of curiousity... What did I do to you to cause you to dog me in this way? On my very first post to this board you had something negative to say about it and have continued that negativity on almost every post I've made since then.

Furthermore, I've never heard your rationalization as a martial artist as to how you figure your negativity helps this board. Strange how you keep avoiding that.

I need to take a moment here and become your mother --

"If you can't say anything nice (useful) don't say anything at all."

<shakes head> I feel sorry for you, I honestly do.

Oh! That's just so kind of you! I could weep!

                  shine! aho!

Maybe your cartoon-boy attitude that anything coming from the east must be of some deep mystical significance, and that learning how to hit someone automatically qualifies you as a holy man, and your juvenile espousal of 'ninja magic' combined with the presumption that you are among the unwashed to spread the light of your wisdom all combine to make you a particularly annoying figure...

Just for the record I, unlike you, have not failed to answer any question you have directly placed to me. I'm not here to 'improve' anything or anyone. This is, as far as I can tell, a forum for the exchange of ideas not a pebble-snatching temple to your romantic notions about the martial arts.

Thank you for your concern. Please help me out by referring me to the direct questions posed to me personally that I have failed to address.

If "you" cannot read well enough to understand, then "you" have a problem. "You" should worry about "you" first.

As for my obligation to live up to "your" subjective determination as to what is and is not a valuable enough 'insight', "you" can go blow "yourself".

                                "You" got it?
