Is mea culpa a balckish word? I believe it means this in Balckish for those of you who can't speak the language.

No. I did not want to demean a race. Your mind reading failed you. Also for all those who do not know what the Gong Sao meant. I am not talking about the wing chun technique but the other defenition which means talking with hands. Or basically if you want to Gong Sao with someone you want to fight him, ussaully in a no hold barred match.

I wouldn't mind seeing an underground skirmish of some sort... just to watch at first, and maybe join later if I thought that my own training (1 year jkd) would keep me going strong... I wouldn't bet on myself, I know that much, until I actually got into a fight and had to use my training to defend and maybe even survive (if the fight got out of hand and led to someone breaking out a bottle or knife or even a gun...).

I wanna know where abouts in California these fights could be found... I live in Sacramento, and I hear NOTHING of such fights. And I only watch UFC on cable for the tough fights that I luv watchin. We have a more advanced class where I train, and they use the steel cage ALOT for their training. That's what I'm getting into after I finish the last 8 months of my contract...

Also, someone mentioned something about making sure you don't break any bones... well... broken bones heal and make stronger bones.. Got milk? Let those bones become stronger by whacking on them, or beating them against a tree... toughen yourself up. Only small pads are needed so that you dont scrape your skin off... but if you can stand the forceful impact upon a tree trunk, what the hell would a kick feel like? Prolly nothing... you would take it and dish it back. Same for your fists and elbows or whatever else you wanna toughen up.

The person that posted this thread probaly won't post back. I am starting to wonder if his story was legit. There might be some fight clubs in California. I have not been there much. But if you ask around you might find something. Fight clubs are not big events with half the town coming like in the movies. Its mostly the friends of the person running it and some people that just happened to hear about it.
