Thanks Ryan that's what I thought, a friend of mine trained at Senshido in Montreal for a week last year and said the classes were grueling, they grapple, box, sparred nhb did knife work etc. he coined it "MMA on steroids" lol! I feel the same way you do about the RBSD guys, Rich and Geoff are the only ones who promote a healthy and athletic training regime. In my opinion you get the best of both worlds with them a true mix of martial art of MMA and RBSD without the BS.

Very cool to see you post here Christian. Wish you would post more often!

I would inquire from time to time about his previous martial arts experience and he would mention a little bit of judo and some HS wrestling (assuming this would be all that really mattered in relation to the SBG training curriculum) He always told me he dabbled in some other stuff and would never really get into it. Now i can see why. I, myself would also try to forget any association i would have had to such an insecure & childish Wanna-Be. Unfortunately, this experience seems like an initiation rite for anyone thats truly interested in realistic martial arts training to have to go through. However, like Ryan pointed out, this shapes us into the people and athletes we are today. At the very least we know what we DON'T wanna become and that there HAS to be a better way. Charlatans like that make us truly appreciate the path we have chosen today along with those who have helped us to grow along the way through thier honesty and integrity, on and off the mat.

Christian, that was beautiful and brilliant, man!

In a world of discrediting character assasination attemps and ego b@ll$h!t, your post just KO'd the gossip mill like Vanderlei "The Axe murderer" Silva fighting for his next meal.

Very classy, sir.

We all know ryan's a top guy around here. But its nice to see that people who've met him on the mat feel the same way.

Anyway, watch this space. The Franco Crap Rap is coming soon.

Yeah, Ryan is a great guy and from my off the message board talks, he's an ethical and consciencous kind of guy. Glad to hear that he is doing well in the tournaments.

Sammy Franco please note. Ryan does not need to log on in different identities to get support. Change your ways and maybe, one day, you'll get the same.

Franco

I trained with Franco for a long time, hes full of shit. At one time he did have the right idea of realistic training and cutting through the crap, but somewhere he lost his mind. Quite frankly now its not even worth trying to prove that hes an idiot, cause hes doing a great job all by himself.

Hey ryan, will i see you at the next Grapplers Quest in Bayonne?

By the way the names Chris Lujan, aka Xander, aka Combat Cherokee, aka the "thorn in my side"-Sammy Franco. And anyone wanna know about his "hardcore" training or mental state feel free to ask.

OK. Just how much of Senshido has he ripped off?

Actually not much. He took the shredder concept and turned it into a half ass'd 1/4 beat technique. Its training methods for it when he first started using Razing were having one person claspe their hands together in different ways and the other person "attacking" them. The Razing idea was taken from senshido's shredder, BUT what it was turned into is something totally different. I dunno how he trains it now( i was thrown out before he released the widowmaker), but he used to do a kind of

1-palm strike
2- rake down
3- ear rip
4- elbow

kind of deal, with the other person doing absolutly nothing to counter or fight back. Very Kata like. The reason i say he hasnt ripped off senshido is cause everything that he has that was inspired by Rich has been turned into a useless tool that should NEVER be associated with Rich's stuff. Trust me when I say Francos in a class all his own.

Chris,

I'll be there, as well as at NAGA next weekend. You going up with Mike Moses' people? If I don't see you, good luck with your division.
