Okay, kid, if you won't hear that, than hear this.

You need to take a composition class. You need to learn how to write clearly and concisely. You want people to understand? Then write to be understood. The way you write... all the words run together.

If you want me to understand just what the hell you're saying, then write to where I, Joe Average Guy, and my brother Billy Bartender, can understand.

    Okay?

And I want to know where you got your ideas.

Right now I've got the idea that you don't like establishment... no-mind, no-truth, no-spoon, etc.

And that's about all I can understand.

You've claimed to be a bodybuilder, philosopher, and martial artist.

So, what do you think is the best way to build upper body muscle without using the wrists? I honestly would like to know because I have a persistent wrist injury that prevents me from performing pushups, which, unfortunately, the Army is fond of. I need an interim solution until I can get the injury healed.

What is your belief about life? Death? Life after death?

Finally, what sort of style of martial arts do you prefer? Are you more into MMA or into traditional? Or JKD, by the sound of it? Do you consider adaptive self-training or class instruction to be better (I've had both so I'll reserve my opinion).

Answer these questions, and try to make your points as clear as possible. I'm gonna try to help you out here, and it's damn hard to debate you when I can't discern the points you're trying to make.

    Lemme know.

          Lemme know.

i hope this isnt too much than u hoped to read, i still have much to say but ill stick with this for now---

Nope, im technically an outsider in my college, everyone looks at what i am wearing, its a stab in the back for most people. simply because i dress up, suites, dress shoes, dress hat. While everyone else around me is concerned with fashion, levis, hollister, abercrombie and fitch etc. ah the army i tried for them. got close to becomming processed but im glad it didnt work out, they really have no need for the skills i practice and are fond of.

Body Building: the best way to build upper body without the wrists are dumbells, you know the free weights. sit ups, leg lifts. doing the unicycle in the air, also holding onto a pull up bar and lifting your legs up. for the death question, you can see that christianity has its own belief on what happens, after death, so does buddhism and and the other monotheistic religions, those most monotheistic religions share the heaven hell concept. me? i believe when you die your spirit goes back to nature, this is my belief, i wont say its true, but seeing how most religions mask the major philosophical questions such as death and where do we come from, most people feel comfortable to believe in one of these condepts, and there are those who dont believe any of it. so to answer your question it is all up to you as to where you head after death.

Your Wrists: um im not a doctor but for your wrist pain u can try warming up and stretching that designated area before pushups, you know roll your wrists around to get them loose then move your hands slowly up and down, grab them from behind and forward, and if this doesnt help then u have strained your wrist and you somehow keep re-damaging it by doing the pushups or what ever it is that you do. i had a strained back on my right side when ever i did leaging right hand punches and i left it alone for a few days and didnt train and it feels better so maybe u hurt your wrist somehow by jerking it or distributing your weight unevenly when doing pushups.

MMA and TKD: As for Martial arts, although i am a rebel; i do support instruction, to build up the foundation of your training. I am a rebel because i dont do what most martial art systems teach, ill train with guns, knives, skiima(sp?) sticks, rifles, sais, staves, chains, etc. However, i think its best to part with instruction after u have a firm grip on style which the instructor taught to start exploring other ways of going about doing things that were either not taught by the instructor or frowned upon. I use to train in a TKD dojo before it became too expencive for my parents to finance, in addition to the price for the lessons the belts cost 80 t0 90 dollars every time i was to get a new one. after that i sort of stopped with the occasional practice and plaid sports for a couple years then started practicing 5 months ago, not any specific style. I remember trying to remember the moves i was taught in the dojo, ultimatley i became more indipendend and took to other routes in martial arts. So i dont feel i practice traditional, but i always wanted to learn a little bit from every system. i notcied since it was years since i had any instruction i lost my balance in many places and often hurt myself with almost everything i did until i had to stop it all and break it down, with the side kick ill practice foot work on both sides til i was comfortable. i held onto a wall to practice form and balance til i didnt need the wall for support anymore, sooner or later i was able to stay in a side kick form for at least 30 seconds til i started stumbling.

comments: since i am the only person in my family who works out, with a mom who use to run now smokes and eats junk food and my dad being obese, i often found no support so i bought a bruce lee book, his book on commentaries to see what he had to say about martial arts. I also started reading up on other sources as much as possible. until i found a work out plan i was able to stick with for a while b4 i hurt my left shoulder blade. id train my arms for an hour, monday, wednesday, friday, id also run on those days, on the alternate days id weight train for an hour, and practice legs. which left sunday as my sort of rest day. i have been trying hard as hell to get into a meditation habbit but its hard when u have no one to give you pointers. the nuns and monks i use to talk to all the time when practicing xen buddhism were help but they all seemed to talk like buddha, telling me this and that in riddles and i was suppose to figure it out in order to get it. I thought i invented some new fist movements but turns out its used in shaolin, it wasnt disappointing because i always admired that system, its sort of .. exotic in a way, i figured since i didnt plan to join another dojo for quite some time ( time and money partially being the problem) i would have to work hard in what i do to find my own limitations and weaknesses and with strong effort and the dent of hard work i felt i would be able to overcome them myself. sometimes ill think for hours on a certain move i did, being not satisfied with it, i would back track. I would do it slowly as i did before, to try to pinpoint exactly what im not proud of, and ill do this until i am satisfied, sometimes i fatigue myself to the point where i cant do anymore and still havent found a solution

I see alot of people like mr goodcrap here in the Army. Not alot of friends, social outcast, jacks off to hentai. I bet he has a full size mirror that he practices his "moves" in front of. He's trying to be "cool" by pretending to be his hero, Bruce Lee. Its sad, and I dont really blame him for being such a loser... Maybe you should stick to dragonball z forums, or anime websites?

Capitalize the 'I', spell 'u' 'you', don't use the word 'ill' unless someone is sick.

Nope, im technically an outsider in my college, everyone looks at what i am wearing, its a stab in the back for most people.
No, it isn't. Most people couldn't care less what you are wearing.

simply because i dress up, suites, dress shoes, dress hat. While everyone else around me is concerned with fashion
If you are dressing up, then you are equally concerned with fasion.

ah the army i tried for them. got close to becomming processed but im glad it didnt work out, they really have no need for the skills i practice and are fond of.
The army rejected you.. if you actually did try out

Body Building: the best way to build upper body without the wrists are dumbells,
dumbells would put comparativly more pressure on the wrists than barbell or the weight machine.

i believe when you die your spirit goes back to nature, this is my belief, i wont say its true... so to answer your question it is all up to you as to where you head after death.
Do you know the difference between an opinion and a fact?

I am a rebel because i dont do what most martial art systems teach, ill train with guns, knives, skiima(sp?) sticks, rifles, sais, staves, chains, etc.
you train with weapons and you can't even be bothered to spell them correctly? I mean , a typo is one thing, but 'skiima' sticks? That's just ignorance.

However, i think its best to part with instruction after u have a firm grip on style which the instructor taught to start exploring other ways of going about doing things that were either not taught by the instructor or frowned upon.
In other words "I had this one instructor once and I didn't like the way he taught, so now I train in my dorm room by myself... sometimes up to ten minutes at a time"

I use to train in a TKD dojo before it became too expencive for my parents to finance, in addition to the price for the lessons the belts cost 80 t0 90 dollars every time i was to get a new one.
Everyone on the board has had this experience. Usually in the first six weeks of starting martial arts. It's so common it isn't even worth mentioning - that you even bring it up demonstrates (again) your total lack of perspective.

I remember trying to remember the moves i was taught in the dojo, ultimatley i became more indipendend
You couldn't remember jack, so you just made some stuff up and it always worked perfectly on your imaginary opponent. Everyone here has done this, too. Before we knew anything about fighting.
So i dont feel i practice traditional, but i always wanted to learn a little bit from every system.
                      You mean like skiima?

i notcied since it was years since i had any instruction i lost my balance in many places and often hurt myself with almost everything i did until i had to stop it all and break it down,
So did you then go find a competant instructor? No, you...

i held onto a wall to practice form and balance til i didnt need the wall for support anymore, sooner or later i was able to stay in a side kick form for at least 30 seconds til i started stumbling.
Continued to make it all up on your own - failing to learn the lesson that was right in your face.

                      ...b4 i... id...

So, pretty much like you keep trying to speak?

I thought i invented some new fist movements but turns out its used in shaolin,
Stumbling over the truth, he just picks himself up and goes on like nothing has happened.

Every competant athelete in the world has a coach - sometimes two or three coaches. Everyone who's been training any length of time has tried to do it themselves, and eventually realized that it can't be done alone - sometimes by getting their arse handed to them. It's a rookie mistake.

That's really the point everyone is trying to make to you - the things you are saying are so laughably ignorant and you are so insistant, it hurts to listen to you. If you want to be a martial artist, find a school and stick with it more than two months. And start posting on forums like this as if you were a learner and not a jedi master.

Christ - I've been training for a decade or more and I'd be glad to learn from someone with Excessive Force's experience. But not you, you want to give the man a lecture on 'the way of no way'? I'd say it's disrespectful, except it's too ignorant. Say you're sorry kid, then get on with absorbing some of the knowledge so many people of selflessly offered on this board.
