Your...your joking right? I spent years doing wing chun so that I could groove to 'Everybody was kung fu fighting' and not feel stupid....

And now you tell me that those years were wasted!!

Ng Moy...I don't even have to touch that for that to be funny.
Why was Ng Moy a ho???

And how do I trust her? I don't know her!! I trust what works - wing chun! Don't care where it came from or who taught who, at the end of the day, but I wouldn't ask who would in a fight between Ng Moy and Fedor (Ng Moy obviously).

My point was that this is meant to be a JKD forum and it seems to have been hijacked!!

Without Bruce Lee, you don't really have JKD

    Red Rum well said......

I agree I dont know why these sort of silly questions are still being asked. Here's the answer though. NO one will ever know who would win had Sifu Bruce Lee had fought against so and so......

He was an exceptional martial artist who inspired the martial arts community. may he RIP...

I thought this was meant to be a JKD forum? Everyone is dissing the founder!! I'm glad I'm a wing chunner where no-one ever takes the micky out of our art.......

Personally, these discussions are silly - how can you ever know what would happen in the fight. Bruce was quite explosive and there is the possibility that he could get a lucky shot in to Fedor.

Fedor is a modern day fighter with access to the best trainers and fighters in the world.

Bruce in his day was cut off from most of the other Chinese martial artists (who hated him) in America and arts such as BJJ, Muay Thai etc were not that well known.

It is like asking who would win in a battle of Napoleonic troops and modern day soldiers....

As for Bruce Lee - we don't truly know how good he was as he never entered into sport based tournament. All I know is that he has inspired a generation of exceptional martial artists and that is enough to earn my respect

Since this is the internet and all, I do have to point out that Lee was, and is, simply incapable of being defeated. Bruce Lee in his lifetime beat up thousands of men, women and children, most of them at the same time, receiving only a small cut on his upper lip for his troubles, which did not bleed. A 40 story building, a shipload of iron ore, and a Boeing B-29 Superfortress once challenged Bruce Lee to a four-way death match; none was ever heard from again. Bruce Lee is widely regarded by most paleontologists to have traveled back in time and beat up the dinosaurs, causing their extinction. Bruce Lee soundly defeated the color brown. Pangea is believed to have separated after it lost a bet against Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee is the unrecognized and uncredited winner of the last nine Super Bowls. Bruce Lee once got in a fight with the air and beat the shit out of it; this is the reason that people now get asthma. in 1959, Bruce Lee traveled to the bottom of the Marianas trench to challenge it to a fight, but the trench backed out. Bruce Lee voluntarily left the Garden of Eden three days before Adam and Eve after leg wrestling the unicorns into submission. Mars was a moon of the Earth before being kicked out of orbit by Bruce Lee. Cheese in Bruce Lee's refrigerator never went bad because he would fist fight the mold nightly before bed. When he rose again the next morning, his pants would fly onto his legs rather than fight him. The movie "Return of the Dragon" climaxes with a scene in which it appears that Bruce Lee's character kills Chuck Norris' character, however, this is not what actually is occurring; the scene is actual footage of the fight which will occur at the end of time in which Bruce Lee will kill Chuck Norris, resulting in the destruction of the universe.

So, in summation, Bruce Lee would win.

    hello,

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

    that was awesomely funny!!!

    thanks

Actually, watching the last Fedor-Nogueira fight I could see that Fedor was constantly adapting to all situations, having immediate counters for every situation Minotauro put him into. He was really adapting and litterarly flowing in every action. It was really impressive.
And, wasn't this what Bruce Lee had always said and done? Wasn't he the one who always said to see and train beyond styles? One thing is sure, he would have continued to do so and to improve. For me MMA are a sport version of what Lee was doing, with different "ingredients", especially bjj and an improved muay thai.

The lawyer asks "excuse me, sir, what have you got there?" The drunk answers "I dunno, but it looks like plastic and feels like rubber." The lawyer asks if he can see, so the drunk rolls it up in his fingers and hands it over.

The lawyer pokes and prods at it between his fingers for a few moments, and sure enough, it looks like plastic but it feels like rubber. "This is really quite remarkable," says the lawyer. "Where did you get it?"

The drunk says "outta my nose."
