        Hello Spookey,

It would be my honor to have the pleasure of exchanging TKD techniques and concepts with you.

I look forward to that day.

          Hello Tom Yum,

Thank you for associating we with Tang Soo Do.

I have had the pleasure of meeting many Tang Soo Do or Soo Bahk Do practioners and they represent the MA well.

The art that I teach and still learn so much from is, American TKD MDK.

In American TKD MDK and TSD, tournaments are de-emphasize for reality base self-defense that addresses the martial and character needs of the individual.

TKD or TSD, are both fantastic arts.

Wow, you know Thai Bri, I always thought you sounded awfully mature for a 16 year-old, now I know why LOL.

Sheesh, how on Earth did I ever get that mix-up? Maybe someone else on here is 16 whom I think is like 40?

I still play with myself as much as any 16 year old. Does that count?

Really? Lots and lots of qi gong...lol. Too bad all that spunk is wasted so early on in life being able to go 14 times in a day.

                Guess stamina doesn't matter.....

Spunk? All I can produce is a puff of dust and the occasional spider.

My own son has been bullied many times. He is not assertive and they sense that he will do nothing back. I train with him, and he finds it hard to believe that he is tough. He hits like a mule and knows many dirty tricks. Its just his confidence I guess.

He flipped earlier this year and used the Shredder to rip some kids face apart. My brothers friend's kid saw it, and she said that my lad dominated the fight so much that he was even waving to the crowd as he tortured the bad guy.

                    He gets bullied less now......

                    The SHREDDER???!!!!???

                      Yup.

                      Go here

Senshido is, at its heart, a Reality-Based Self-Defense system. What this means is that it teaches survival skills for real-world violent situations.

Maybe if you taught him the Widowmaker instead of the Shredder he'd be more confident.

The three parts of a practical working Martial Doctrine is strategy – tactics – spirit.

If you have only one of three, then you are occasionally successful.

If you have only two of three, then your survival rate during a conflict drastically improves.

If you have three out of three, then you should not be engaged in the conflict in the first place -&- if you have no other option but to fight, then you take out the threat efficiently and with the least amount of effort.

As my daddy would always say, ‘Son you better of not started the fight but you of better of finished the fight and the bastard that started it.’

hey maddog. its good to here someone who knows what there talking about. that is so true that tkd doesget a bad wrap but i think it depends also on the practitioner. if he has mongrel in him he will be fierce in any style and vice versa. if hes a bit hesitant, even if hes doing the greatest style it wont help him. its good to here that you like the old school traditional tkd. where elbows knee and pretty much anything can be used if its going to do the job. I sometimes think its because of every school wanting to do competitions that they lose alot of the extra techniques because they r unable to b used in competitions.
                                anyway stay mad bro
