    when i was 18, i did 369 @ 198 body weight, which is on the wabdl web site incase you dont believe me. later that year, i did a competition 400 lift, then did 425 comp. style lift in my buddies garage. i do not take any hgh, androgens, or testosterone boosting supplements. when i competed i didnt take anything but protein. but in all honesty, weight lifting is stupid and gets real old real fast. who gives a shit if i can bench press 400 pounds when their are a lot of people who lift a lot less than me who would kill me in a fight.

      If you are such an avid weight lifter you are most likely a real slow dork in a fight and you could tire way faster then other people because your too heavy. You think you can just take me down and beat me up, but you wouldnt be able to. Even if you DID take me down I know enough to get out of it and procede to kick your ass. I train in TAEKWONDO, not olympics. I dont scream like a girl like Steven Lopez, but you certainly would be if I ever got you in a fight.

      Watch the load of crap you talk, you dont know who you are messing with online, one day someone who DOES live in your town could very well take you up on your accepting the challenge and then actually meet you and kick your ass.

      In fact if ANYONE lives in OK where this moron is from and you train in TAekwondo or evenb Karate or KUNG FU then go and be my guess to kick this idiots ass and humble him.

All Andrew's doing is talking all sorts of garbage and zhorner, you're not exactly helping it either. Most TKD is garbage, but there are some good practitioners (most, however, not in the U.S.). Wrestling works and has for centuries. Weight training does not slow you down. End of discussion.

              I was talking about lifting in general, nothing about lifting & fighting. 198 is pretty lean for a 369 bp - I'm not a skeptic. If you've been powerlifting for maybe 5 years and have been taking creatine (I don't think its a testosterone sup) its doable.

              When you did that 425 lift, were you wearing a proper shirt? Cause the tension in those shirts can help out with lifts and take away some of that elbow pressure.

                yes, i was wearing a shirt when i did the 425, i also weighed about 205-210. it was my buddies rage-x that was a size 50, i wear a size 44-46, if i was wearing a good fitting one i would have done closer to 500. those shirts are the reason i dont compete anymore. they are completely retarded. im embarrassed that i even wore one of those retarded monkey suits. they have guys out their attempting 800 pound bench presses who could maybe do 600 raw at best. that is 200 pounds over what you can do on your own. and no, creatine is not a testosterone supp.

                  zhorner,if tkd isnt your thing than its not your thing. Just dont openly bag it in a tkd forum coz many people train in it and obviously take offence to it. But if u have to still take the classes may aswell try to learn something. Heck u might learn only 1 kick which might be good for u. But thats 1 kick more then u knew to start with.

                              TKD is allright. The stance is a little to upright and back, to allow easy kicking. The only problem is that is a disadvantage if a guy can get inside and is a decent boxer or wrestler.

                              Yeah, some TKD guys get some serious snap and power in their kicks.
