Where do you consider the most effective place to strike somebody using low kicks?

See i think it can be relatively dangerous especially if you strike with your instep, I like to strike the pressure point just above the knee on the outta side of the leg, especially against fighterd without conditioned legs.

There's also the femoral artery on the inside of the thighs, I just prefer kneecaps because they're easier to hit on a live opponent rather than a small point that may or may not work on some people, besides if i'm kicking someone, it's intended to be dangerous. I also like to do stomp kicks to knees and ankles/shins.

Kicking the inside of the knees outwards, the way they are precisely not meant to bend.

true but they are the biggest pressure points on the body and i havent yet come across a person with a dead response to them.

              The groin.
              Knee cap.
              Just above the knee.
              Thigh (femoral artery).
              Ankle.

Ya groin is number one for self defence for me. I always imagine an attacker of immense proportions and kicking him anywere else would be innefective. The outside of the thigh above the knee using a turning kick with the shin ala muay thai style is great, simple and effective (the shin cuts into the thigh muscle better). Even if you miss the pressure point it will most likely drop them anyway.
