for they people you talk about tkd and not keepin there hands up yes i agree but you do know thats only for olympic wtf sparring nothing else, in itf if you keep your hands down your dead they also use more hand techniques in itf sparring and in the class we are always told to keep our hands up basically if you see anyone not keeping there hands up (besides olympic wtf sparring) then yes those people are askin to get knocked out but id never keep my hands down on the street and i do both wtf and itf

Well with my 12 years of experience in TKD. I must say I dont believe the WTF or ITF have done enough to preserve the integrity of tae kwon do.. More so the WTF then ITF... Sad to see an art I love soo much become something it should have never become.............S P O R T

Well i guess you could put it that way. I always liked ITF alot more but we are WTF at the moment and i agree with the whole turning into a sport thing but that never made me stop TaeKwonDo completely. Although the main point was for the hands up, its only in WTF its not like we train with our hands down all the time.
