i sadly live off of one dobok. and I train about 3-4 classes a week(two of those classes i do twice a day 2hours if that makes sense)...
of course Ive only been training at my new school for the past...6 months, and im going to college soon(which i have to pay for my training and my books!) so getting new doboks isnt high on my list.

You need a cheaper set for every day! Ours run only about 40$ for a medium weight...the heavy weight about 70 or eighty...Santa has to bring me one of them! But since we can work out in T-shirts I can get away with a cheap knock off pair of pants from ebay...saving my pants for the whole uniform occations (It's a Martha Stewart matter: if both parts don't see the wash equaly, you can tell the difference...looks yuckie! )
I have seen whole uniforms as low as 16$ though, lightweight, good for summer...

santa told me that he's spent to much money on tkd stuff for me this year so im screwed.
i wouldnt be able to do that though, my grandmaster buys and approves all of the doboks...
i cant work out in only tshirts. my school is wicked strict like that.
but in the winter i dont want to work out in only a tshirt. burr...

That's bad.

By the time I get all the patches sewn on the heavyweight, it will set me back about 100$ as well, but...gotta have it. I am going through the instructor training program... ;P

But I am in the deep south and our Dojang has not the best A/C unit...nor heater for that matter...jackest are starting to sound a whole lot nicer by the day!

yeah, dont complain about cold weather when youre in the south. it was snowing earlier today, and the average temperature is about 30 degrees right now. in january it drops to about 15 and sometimes -10s.
i have to do the instructor program soon, i meant to do it with itf but that never happened due to political reasons. is it hard?

I can only speak for the ITA.

You have to test to become a trainee, showing all forms up to your rank plus one- and three step sparring. Nerve wrecking, but doable. Then, for the next year or so you have to rake up 250 hours teaching, mostly assisting...then flying solo...attend a few seminars at the big tournaments and get CPR/First Aid certified...then test again, in front of the big wigs...you spend a lot of time at the Dojang! It's cool, but some days everybody is in space....


(Yeah, not too bad down south re. cold...though we had 19 degrees, and expecting this again tonight....they just don't sell good clothes here for that kind of weather... ;D )
