How to tie belt?

Dumb question but how do u tie your belt? Is there a proper way to tie it? and what about the pants? I have the hsu brand. How far are your sleeves suppose to go down on your gi? mine is about 3 in above my wrists. is that too small? thanks.

I don't know if it is the proper way but I always tied a square knot, that way the knot stays angled and one of the 'ears' won't be vertical. Here's how to do it in case you don't know how. First, take your belt and put it around your belt as you normally would. Now, take the left side and put it over your right side, go under the whole you just made, then over. Pull the sides away from each other to tighten it. Now take the right side and put it over the left, go under the hole you just made and over. Tighten the knot and voi la.
One easy way I remember it is this phrase "Left over right, Right over left."
