no its not planned just like any other tournament were they are not trying to actually hurt each other.Accidents do happen though and that explains the broken arms etc.

I think that the fights in the UFC are real, insofar as they follow the rules, the fighters are trying to win, etc.
What annoyed me in the last UFC was when they brought Tito and Chuck out just to look angry at each other. That just smacked of WWE to me.

guy incognito i think you should watch any of the ufc's up to like number 8 and say that there fake..and you think everyone grapples because they dont want to hurt each other.. tapping is a way to say you give up..no one is stupid enough to let their arm just snap or get choked out unconcious. the early ufc's didnt have many submission guys.. it was all fist fights.. tell me that in UFC 1 when gerard gordeu kicked that sumo guy in the face that it was staged.. and when the sumo guys tooth got knocked out.. but i guess thats an accident when your on the ground and someone throws a roundhouse to your face and knocks your tooth out right ? !! actually i think your an idiot to think its fake.. it was real then and its still real.. actually i cant even believe you posted this useless thread.. to me the thread is as dumb as if i posted do you think that hardcore p0rn is real or is it fake..(im not talking about softcore either) The only thing fakes in porn are the orgasams but the sex is real. hahah i duno stupid example but you get my point..Comment

1) you're about 15 years old
2) you have never actually kneed someone in the face
3) you have a very lacking knowledge of anatomy and physiology
4) you don't train against resisting opponents
