there is no complete art.
after watching many videos on that site i've come to think it a farce as well. The Matt Thorton video seminar on there with Djimbe was okay, but they said he claimed to be a true Xing-I practioner, i'm sorry, but i've never seen one so out of shape!! and he didn't move like he knew real Xing-I
also in that Kung Fu video when the guy goes in and takes him to the ground what did he do? he just charged like a bull, he didn't do a shot or anything he just did a sort of hip grab and the kung fu guy fell because he didn't have a good base. then on the ground he just worked the figure 4/upper branch/v-arm lock (from what i saw) until he put it on, it's a basic BJJ move the 5 year olds i train could do. the problem is most Kung Fu CMAists don't ever train for ground fighting... and that is something i don't understand either.
i think to be good, you need to have a decent understanding of weapons, stand up, ground fighting and above all body connectivity like Qigong, Tai Chi, yoga, etc... like Guro Inosanto always says to be a good player one has to crosstrain and see the weaknesses and strengths of all the arts, not just thier own.
peace.

Was it just me or did that double leg takedown seem a bit sloppy? To me it seemed like he just charged and bent down to try to pull his legs up. Correct me if I'm wrong, i'm no Rckson Gracie.
