Met Royce this afternoon.

I met Royce Gracie down at Hawk's place this afternoon. He was a really nice guy. He has a great sense of humor and was cracking jokes and having a good time.

He weighs 185 but feels like 260! I got some good pictures of him choking the mess out of Hawk.

He and Hawk are out deer hunting right now. I think Royce got a deer yesterday.

Thank you Hawk for having us down! The guys really had a great time!

I'm going to have to stop picking on fascistfury. He's gotten a lot bigger and stronger since I last saw him. Plus Klif is teaching him all kinds of nasty nerve pinches. Yes, my shin is black and swelling!

You'll all be happy to know that I KICKED MARTIAL ARTIST'S ASS! (I did outweigh him by 100 pounds) .

Whether it's Royce, Rickson or anyone else in martial arts, they are human.
I think that there are only a hand full of dudes that might be jerks, when you meet them in person.

I can that Royce and Rickson are very cool dudes, not arrogant nor stuck up and when you meet them, they genuinely are happy to meet you.

So, Ronin, come on down to LA.

I have to add that I really enjoyed Royce's seminar. The atmosphere was laid back and I learned a lot. Watching Royce toy around with 250 pound weight lifting dudes is alot of fun.

Oh and Royce promoted Martial Artist to yellow belt (since he is too young to have a grown up rank)....

I tried to upa him at a seminar two weeks ago. It felt like I had a VW bus on me.

I almost said, "Hey, this isn't the way it works in your tapes."

Royce was cross mounted on this big guy at the seminar and the guy was groaning from the pressure. All of a sudden Royce stops and sits up and asks "is it a full moon cycle?" Someone said yes and then he asked the guy "How heavy did I feel?" The guy said "about 250!" Royce said "It's because of the full moon, any other time I only feel like 178 lbs, but during the full moon I feel like 250. I need to make sure I schedule my next fight during a full moon so I can feel heavier." He had the whole class laughing....

Yes Klif, I had him in a spider guard and he pinned my shin against his leg and drove the point of his elbow into the underside of my shinbone.

It didn't hurt much then, but it hurts a lot now. Some kind of Dim Mak perhaps?
