2 members of Mousel's Self-Defense Academy (MSDA) fought in the Renegades Extreme Fighting event that was held at Verizon Theater in Houston on Nov. 5th.
MSDA member Latigo Heriberto fought a nearly flawless match against boxer/kickboxing champion Luis Reyes. Latigo was able to shoot in for takedowns and a couple of slams. Once on the ground, Latigo maintained the top position throwing strikes on the downed Reyes. He won a unanimous decision.
MSDA member Paul Chazarreta did great the first two rounds of his fight but then got caught with a choke and submitted in the third round. He fought very well regardless of the submission.
Overall the fight card was very good with lots of action!
