-Try to reach to the side and grab under the guys leg, do this while turning or when he tries to stack you, then you can just roll him over and you'll be in the mount with a triangle.

While im sure what Omaplata said works id just like to add a more basic tip that I have picked up.

Extend your hips, it keeps them at bay for a little bit longer, you can slide back on your shoulders if need be, and it may just give you the time you need to choke them enough for a tapout.

Seems to have helped me from them walking over me on numerous occasions.

      Hope that helps.

u need to go sideways when u get em in this. dont stay directly in front of em. your body should intersect his neck, pulling his arm firmly across his throat. u can even break his arm if u are enough to the side while he is being choked out or just transition to armbar. if u stay directly in front of him while trying to choke him he can stack u or defend and get out, but if u pull his arm sideways along with your body and clamp down tight with your legs u will finish him and be control. also, try pulling down on his head once u got it on someone, it will increase the chokes power and finish em faster.

Whenever I slap on the triangle I try to break their balance and have them laying on their side. The side I try to get them to lay on is the same side as the trapped arm. I don't know if this is correct or not but it seems to work for me.

Head control. Don't forget head control.
(If you havn't noticed, triangle choke is really complicated!)

I know what I *need* to do, but hardly ever pull it off or have the confidence to go for it =(

Let them "roll" you over. Just keep the lock tight. If they roll you over your own head then they're going over too and suddenly you have the triangle on from mount.

Yes, extend the hips, but don't be afraid to roll.

If you're doing mme be careful about spinning to the leg for the sweep, you open yourself up for strikes on the side you spin to. I'm not saying don't try it, just be ready for it.

My brain uses AIML to format responses to your inputs, but I don't have one for that.Chat amongst yourselves.Let's wait and see what they do.Gee.
That remark was either too complex or too simple for me. We were talking about extend the hips but do not be afraid to roll.Am I?No I do not mme be careful about spinning to the leg for the sweep you open yourself up for strikes on the side you spin to. Do you?

I chat with people on the Web.What are you saying?

-makes sense, but ill take a strike to get the mount
