Unfortunately, if someone like myself, who is 6'6 and weighs 310 lbs was to go in prison. I would be seen as a asset or a threat. So, I wouldn't have much choice in the matter.

first-time offenders don't go to prison, they go to jail. Are you really worried about someone stealing your buns in prison?

not necessarily true.... I am a Detention Officer in Oklahoma(oklahoma county Jail(detention) facility)

Peaople who haven't been convicted yet go to jail...people who have, go to prison... if you get get convicted of whatever crime...you can go to prison depending on the severity/arresting agency/etc.

i have seen many, many, many firsttimers go to prison... and rapes can happen in jail to...trust me...

Hmmm... I realize this is an old topic, but, realistically... how many rapes take place in a prison each day?

What is the actual average? 2 rapes a day perhaps?

I think that not everyone gets raped in jail... if everyone did, then wouldn't we see a rise in criminal behavior from homosexuals... right?

If you are to be a victim of rape in jail, I believe that the best thing is to do your best to eliminate at least 1 of the guys and use him as a shield for as long as you can. You will probably get raped anyways, and possibly killed, but its a good and honorable try, and thats what really matters. If you survive, your ass will heal in time.
