  • UFC documentary on MSNBC tonight

Reminder to everyone that there's a UFC documentary on MSNBC tonight (1/4) at 8:00 PM. This is according to ADCC news. I don't know if it's 8 PM eastern or not.

I think it is eastern time. The TV guide said "MSNBC Invesigates" so I think that is it.

That's it then sccr6. We have to watch this closely because this might be yet another biased report.

The title does seem biased already doesn't it?
Did you see the Last Word with Jim Rome where he profiled MMA? I didn't see it but I heard it was pretty good until Jim Rome's final commentary.

I don't see how these people can be so against MMA and yet think boxing is OK.

I didn't see the Rome report but heard about it. MMA is considered a low life activity by so many people. I run into it all the time, even after trying to explain its technical aspects.

Boxing has been around a while and because it limits the striking to only gloved fists, many people consider it "civilized." MMA will NEVER make it to the mainstream audience.

That subtitle doesn't bode well for our beloved sport.

If you caught the "Fox Files" segment on underground NHB last year--a similar hack job--it was even more appalling because in SPITE of their footage (a lot of the NHB fighters were very well-spoken and made a very reasonable argument for what they do) it was edited into a hysterical piece about how NHB exists simply for bloodlust.

              Pathetic.

I'll reserve judgement, but I won't be surprised when they go that route...

"No, Mr. Simpson, don't take your anger out on me..no, Mr. Simpson! NOOOOOO!!!!!!"
                *dramatization may not have happened*

Altering news to fit a bias should be illegal in my opinion. That should be even for the things I don't like either. Keep objective there.

I'll try and catch this thing tonight. It's on at 8pm central? I'll keep watch at 7-9 then.

Well,I just looked at the schedule and saw that it says

                    MSNBC Investagates:Extreme Fighitng

Series/Special.Professionals discuss fight clubs in Arizona,Oregon, and Utah.New

I wonder if they will show the part ant the end of the fights where the fighters shake hands anf hug.I also wonder what they will say about Cally making NHB Legal.

Over 300 deaths have occured in Boxing.Only 1 NHB and that was in Russia so go fig.

I guess that Ernest Hoost was killed by a kick to the head eh?

Aren't some NAGA grapplers being interviewed in it or something? We shouldn't participate in anti-mma propaganda.

                        I can see it now....

"Look at these 2 blood thirsty beast wanting to tear each other apart"

What pisses me off about these reports is how I can't get any NHB from my cable company but they'll let the WWF crap on and kids that see it turn out worse for it

I agree Jim, WWF is MUCH more crude and bloody than nhb. Even if the blood is fake, kids don't know that. Really, most UFC fights I've seen are basically combos of boxing and wrestling(or sub. fighting, John Q. Public can't tell the diffrence between the 2) If you take the boxing and wrestling apart there harmless sports, if you put them together its "blood lust" What Americans don't understand, they hate. This really upsets me, especially when movies like "Saving Private Ryan" are so excepted and so highly revered.

                            keep it fresh, NHB Rocks!!!

They will probably take the NAGA or whoever guys out of context or only pick ones that make idiotic statements.
