Well I was watching some Pride fights the other day and I noticed Kevin Randleman would often put his forearm on his opponents face when on top to distract them to setup subs. Ive heard people mention it on the forums lots of times, but up til now I actually thought it meant the North-south position.
I dont think Ive seen it in my class, but do your schools let you crossface each other when your roll? From watching Randleman pile all his weight on some poor guys face it seems like it must hurt like a b!tch. Also, when you stack people during rolling is it ok to put all your weight on them or is it bad etiquette. I personally have only been grappling like 4 monthes, taking a few weeks off here and there for various reasons, so Im definitely a beginner on the ground. So any answers are appreciated.
