    Tanto, I'll practice it more after regionals (and hopefully states) is over. It's just that when I'm tied up with my opponent it seems that his feet are too far back for me to sweep.

    I think you'll do fine! If his feet are too far back, his balance forward, try the hip or thigh throw. Hop in and turn, take him down ogoshi style...

        So I tried it in practice and it appears the leg trip from the collar elbow tie up is not my thing. I did find out however that I can do a leg trip really well from a 2 on 1 with my head to the outside. The greatest thing is that if I don't take them down from the leg trip I switch it straight to a double and can take them down most of the time with that.
