I've heard of em. But what I was getting at is the overall quality of their wrestlers maybe weren't up to par, beating one of their state champs in the clinch might not be like beating one of ours... but I guess that could be expected, if nothing else, by the sheer population of the US compared to Canada.

the whole idea you are surprised a broken arm doesnt end a fight says you aint EVER encountered a life and death situation...if you stop fighting a enemy soldier because of a broken bone and he takes you on TV and saws your head off with a dull bowie knife, youll see my point a little late...people can and DO fight through injuries in the real world...or they give up....what does your art teach you to do?

As for forest griffin...im so glad you get your idols from sports figures...people continue to fight after being shot...stabbed...raped...limbs chopped off...glad you find strength in people on TV...hope you dont set all your standards that way.

Lol Boar,(i didnt see this before sorry...) I have fought for my life, I'm not sayin all the time or through the craziest shit, and I know how the human spirit and toughness works. But, I break your arm... I'm winning the fight. Period. A good solid break at the elbow, I win. You can swing with it all you want, stab me, whatever, but im takin you out. Same applies to all broken limbs, sure, you can fight with them, but it's tough to kill or maim the other guy with such a disadvantage. Though, I do prefer throws... I personally have seen and experinced what a good takedown/throw on pavement, hardwood, tile, concrete, can do to the human body... and it ain't pretty. It may look cool on a mat, but you hit pavement that hard... owww. lol

And I LEARNED to fight in the street, as I said, that quote in my pro has been attributed to me. Though, fighting is not cool. I'm glad to know how, but I like talking my way through stuff nowadays, dangfella's post was a good one.

          Quality of Canadian wrestlers...

Daniel Igali was good enough to win gold in the olympics in australia in 2000..

Thats one I can think of off the top of my head...

I know due to funding/coaching/community involvement/many factors in most sports, America is better than Canada.

Wrestling I'm not 100% sure about, If I had to choose I would say American, but we do have very good wrestling up here in Canada.

With that said you still havent answered my question, clearly his "state championship" silver medal, makes him a far better wrestler than me, whether or not we stack up to the states is irrelevant.

Also from what I've seen he is better taking people down then on the ground ( I take it to him on the ground).

He's also got about 50 pounds on me, and maybe 5 inches of height.

          You havent answered my question.

Lol, what do you want me to say. It seems like more of a pride issue for you. YOU ARE A BETTER GRAPPLER THAN A + 50 lbs WRESTLER!!!! lol. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I'm also not sure what you're looking for. Mabye you're better in the clinch because of striking ability? Maybe you're just a good grappler and he's not. I'm sure you'd be taken down by a dude who took second in states over here(depending on your experience, training, and ability of course ... I mean for all I know you came.... 3rd in states lol)
