I didnt say monks were the greatest fighters in the world. The only idiots I have EVER heard claiming to be the best fighters and undefeated are the liars known as the gracie family... 460 wins

You better put me on your ignore list so that when ever i disagree with outlandish claims like, "Shaolin monks are the best fighters ever look what happend in the 1500's", or "Pressure point striking works so well for fighting"......Im then not gonna get scolded for it since YOU cant back up the real effectivness of the ultra traditional arts.

          Wait stop the presses

Bill Goldberg from WCW claimed almost 300 wins undefeated.

          Does he count????

I'd have to say that i stayed alive for 27 years so far and my traditonal art as you call it has saved my ass on more than a few occasions. But weather or not a 16 year old kid thinks my art works or not doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is people giving out disinformation and making outrageous claims that are complete lies and will get someone hurt or killed.

            Like the Gracies.

I think I'll keep you off ignore since it bothers you so much to not have a nuthugging asskissing GJJ freak talking to you all the time.

It's good for you young people to see diffrent perspectives, it helps you grow.

You're the idiot making the statement that because you havent seen it on PPV it isnt effective. Plenty of very effective fighting styles and techniques wont EVER make your little PPV world jr so you probably wont ever get to see them...techniques not used in the ring to win trophies rarely get focused on by those who build arts to fight in the ring for trophies and a title. Why waste your time defending attacks to illegal targets? Only dirtbags on the street who arent bound by rules would use those!!!

I dont side with Gracies(or BJJ) when it comes to SD(though BJJ will help you if end up on the ground). But i will side with Muay Thai/boxing and Wrestling/Judo.....but most importantly, weapons arts like Kali..........those arts are the most PRACTICAL for SD. That how i feel, enough of this arguing.

So how many of those arts have you had 5 seconds or more of actual training in? Or are you just cheerleading from the sidelines as usual without any experience in them at all?

Again, stop thinking that thats the way i feel/think. Obviously there are effective techniques that are completely illegal in the ring, its the way those techniques are trained which is extremely important. Im done with arguing back and forth.

Ive been very succesful at wrestling for a long time, Ive been practising BJJ from my brother(who's a blue belt under Greg Thompson) for more than a year and with all that ive picked up a few Judo throws. And ive been doing boxing for 2 months now, at a gym, and at home training with my older brother who's been doing MT, grappling, judo, and boxing for a few years.

                          Im done with this thread.
