Again, all insults and hot air... yet no value. Wrestlers are doing the best in the UFC right now, Matt Hughes, Jeff Monson, AA(I know hes a Sambo champ but he was a wrester before that), Chuck Liddell, Randy Cotoure(though retired), Sean Sherk, .... need I go on dumbass? If more BJJ guys would learn to wrestle their BJJ game would grow exponentially. Now like I said, you are all hot air.

Monson trains in BJJ as do all the others you mentioned, else they would get spanked. period. they do use wrestling primarily to do anything, they used a wrestling lock to finish anyone in the ufc or pride. name one time a wrestler used wreslting hold to tap anyone

Anyway, They don't use it to finish them off, it's not what wrestling is about, they use the far superior takedowns and positioning to impose their will, and finish it off with a sub . Stated this many times before. (btw when Monson won ADCC the first time I think he was only a bjj blue or purple belt, he wasn't huge into bjj, more a sub gappler. Now he's a blackbelt though.)

I apologize for not going through the whole thread but I believe the original question is disrespectful to both Helio and Matt.

Helio was an inovator and an incredible coach. His influence has been felt quite literally all around the world. The original question is insulting to him IMO because the man is too humble to think of himself in that manner. And he respects Matt Hughes too much.

And Matt is the best in the world at what he does. I had the chance to train with him last Fridayand I hope I get to do it agian soon. His Jits skills are legitimate and his personality is genuine. He too would never make this type of a comparison.
