What sense is fighting if you don't like to fight...if you don't like exchanging blows, you shouldn't compete. Losing here and there is a risk, and that risk is the admission price. Who gives a shit if you lose (unless you're on the pro-level and it costs you contracts and cash) if you have a GOOD fight.
In my mind, being Poly Ann-ish about the outcome is a fucking joke...so is being pessimistic. In order to win or lose, you have to fight. The mentality of a fighter shouldn't be focused on the outcome, it should be focused on the ACTION.
So, once again...when I fight, I don't focus on the outcome, I simply try to hurt them...and focus on the means to do it, instead of clouding my mind with bullshit and fantasize about what would happen if...I just bang.
Do you have time to think out the outcome when somebody takes a swing at you in REAL life? After you get sucker punched or sideswiped? NO...you just bang away.
And it's Mr. Hummel.
