Anti Grappling=grip and rip!,do everything that isnt in the rules of ufc pride etc, fish hook, ear rip,eye gouge, bite etc,if a wing chun guy/girl adds that lot to there arsenal then there is no need(imho) to spend months or years learning a grappling system.

Shouldn't be a problem, compared to what they are currently being 'taught.'

2 reasons why you should have thought before you posted garbage.

              1. Those moves are not exclusive to the non-grappler. In fact, one could argue(and quite easily so) that the grappler would have a substantial advantage at these dirty techniques on the ground due to their ability to gain positional advantage, and their comfort level on the ground.

              2. Since these techniques cannot be trained with any degree of reality(full contact, with resistance, or with power), they cannot be stated as effective techniques. Unless techniques have been tested and proven, they're all talk at best.

J-luck,Actually i never said that those moves were exclusive to wing chun students, and i really dont think we need to see anyone stick a finger in a eye and pull,or rip a mouth open,or see a bite to any part of the body to know they are effective moves, actually i have seen all 3 of these moves in real action and they were very effective! also sorry but regardless of where you are in a fight position wise these moves are effective, top or bottom, side or rear positions,by the way please dont think im anti grappling,im not,i wrestled for a couple of years and have studied bjj(no great level)so i understand fine well the strength of grappling/grapplers,but i also realise the weaknesses of the grappling arts and that is the above mentioned techniques imho.

                    1. That's nice that you've seen them work. Remember, basing opinions on personal experience is usually dangerous. Especially on such a topic. I've seen all of these techniques not work... PLENTY of times. I've been exposed to many cultural, and socio-economic situations and could also site many experiences... but they're irrelevant. If not trained under realistic situations, the techniques are irrelevant.

                    2. Wrong. They are not effective just anywhere. Classic example is the multitude of "challenges" between bjj guys and other martial artists from back in the day. Try eye gouge from the bottom, get arm broken. And that's just one example, there are many more.

The grappler is far more inclined to use these techniques effectively, having gained the proper positioning. You wouldn't want to throw a punch on one leg, backwards would you? Positioning is always relevant, no matter what the technique. To state otherwise is absurd.

Lol Juba, even if no one else appreciates your posts, just know, I do.

It's funny cuz people assume you dont know shit cuz you just leave condecending, seemingly arrogant comments without anything to back them up.

But in reality, I think it's more like an adult addressing a child. Why explain yourself when you're obviously right? The few comprehensive responses you do give show that you're in that position to be able to talk like that.

Lol Uke, that fool, comes to mind.

As long as at least one person understands, I'm satisfied.

J-Luck,I still cant agree sorry dude, say somebody takes the straight arm bar,the moment the calf comes near the mouth..opportunity for a bite, and a calf bite bloody hurts!,guess my posts on this wont go down well in a mma forum,my main point was that wing chun folk or anyother martial artist dont need to learn a grappling sysyem(though i do think it would benefit them in lots of ways to do so)to get them out of "street style" ground fighting.
